Honestly heartbreaking. I read an article that he was into brutal pornography, which knowing what we know comes as no surprise. FDS needs to change into FSS: female survival strategy. Male depravity is not just something that gives you the ick on a date, it’s deadly. RIP to this innocent young woman and countless other victims like her.

I see your point, but i don’t see it as a desperation for marriage, it’s just that even in cohabitation, you’re doing exactly what a wife would do with none of the legal/social protections that marriage offers. And whether you want to get married or not, a lot of women do and they end up being strung along by men who have no intention to marry them. Exactly! But as it stands, they are so sure their girlfriend will stick around. I think part of the issue is sunk cost fallacy, when a woman has been with someone for so long they can’t imagine it all going to waste or starting over again with someone new. The men are also aware of the imbalance and may (consciously or subconsciously) drop enough crumbs to keep her hopeful (like calling her “wifey”).
