Oh for SURE some cops suck. We'd all love perfect cops. But they're humans, and I feel like people forget that. Yes, humans who took the badge and we WANT them to be perfect, but they're still. humans. So weird that people think once someone gets a badge, they're supposed to be transformed into perfect beings (and I agree, it all stems from 1-2 bad experiences and ppl hold grudges.)

What aggravates me is that people for some reason don't understand how dangerous of a situation this initial stop was for the cop (or they don't care.) I've seen plenty of bodycam videos where it goes from 0 to 10 in a second when the driver suddenly pulls a gun. Barely rolling your window down already put the cop on edge, defensive, and in a bad mood because you put their life in danger, and didn't seem to give a shit. They don't know you. They don't know what type of person you are. They don't…

TikTok-esque videos like this are why we're losing our attention spans. The subtitles, constantly flashing images on screen... like jingling keys in our faces because we can't be trusted to watch a two-minute video of someone talking... We're fucking doomed.

Nah, but some teachers sexually assault children, so they must all be pedo rapists, right? Are there shitty cops? Of course. I wish there weren't. We don't live in a perfect world fantasy. But I would happily argue that 95% of officers are just doing their job and you have a beef with them because they caught you breaking the law (even if it was a 'minor' thing like going 65 in a 55.)

That's so weird. You do the things they asked as they were just doing their job and you then drive away hassle-free either with a ticket (for speeding or something) or a warning? That's wild. But really, most ppl hate cops for the same reason they hated their teachers as kids in school. Some authority figure telling you what to do, or catching you doing something you weren't supposed to and punishing you for it.

Bruce dealt with 15 years of being a monster. An outcast. The military hunting him that entire time. He was feared even when first joining the Avengers. He admitted to trying to kill himself, but couldn't even do that as the Hulk wouldn't let him. He had to deal with being partly responsible for not stopping Thanos, and 5 years of guilt over half of ALL LIFE being destroyed. Then he lost one of his best friends in Natasha, and then more guilt of not being able to bring her back with the gauntlet…

As long as you're not going WAY under the speed limit, you can go slower than the traffic around you. They can go around you and change lanes. If you're going 40 in a 55, yeah some people might curse at you for the inconvenience of them having to change lanes, but hey better than going 80 to keep up with them and risking a ticket.

Her text looks altered. Similar fonts, but slightly different. More space on the tittle of the 'i' for one. Overlaying the 'o' in her messages with the ones in blue bubble doesn't match up either. In this video it seemed he was going with the intention of low-key making fun of ppl at a convention. He saw some costumes he did like though, near the confrontation, but before that it seemed like he went there to judge and ruffle feathers. Again, he's allowed to. But to go somewhere with the sole intent of filming people is weird and while legal, no one really likes it. "If people are upset that I film them in public, that's THEIR problem" is an asshole attitude. (If you think that way, I have…

Right. That's what i'm saying though, just cuz something is legal doesn't mean it doesn't make you somewhat of an asshole if you do it. That's some Karen logic. "I have a right to do it, so I CAN do it, and you can't stop me!!" Again yes, technically you do, but it's still annoying of you to do it, so people may think of you in a negative light. EDIT: Also check the video in this video's description. He films the police. (Again, allowed to. Just sayin.)

It's weird that he has so many videos of ppl 'getting mad at him.' I go about my day just fine and don't have random taxi drivers or cyclists mad at me. Common denominator here is him. He also starts off this video almost poking fun at the ppl a the convention. I don't believe he's there as a fan/attendee. Not saying he can't, the outside of it is a public place and he has every right to be there, and even film, but sounds like he was going there for a reaction of some kind, and got one for his …

In college, the bus that took us from the free parking lot to the campus often got packed, and so one day when I got a seat early, a girl was standing in the aisle next to me (when the seats are full ppl stand in the aisle holding onto the railing so we get as many ppl to the campus as possible in one bus load.) I offered her my seat and she exploded, saying stuff like "What, cuz i'm a weak girl, I need a man to offer his seat? I can't possibly stand on my own and need a man to protect me?" Afte…

Yeah everyone always pokes fun or criticizes security guards (even unarmed ones) for not taking action, but they don't realize the uniform does not make them police (even if some security guards act like it.) Their job is to observe and report. When I was working security while in college, I was told that even if I saw someone breaking in or stealing something, don't interfere and just call the cops (Which I was happy to do if it ever happened. Job ain't worth my safety.)

A female floor associate needed to get a huge heavy stroller down from a high shelf for a customer, but couldn't lift it and carry it down, so called me over to do it. I don't mind that part, but in the end we're both getting paid the exact same, despite putting in different amounts of effort... and it's the women complaining about a pay gap? psssh.

You 100% missed the point I was making, but... seeing as how you're the type of person i'm talking about, it's forgiveable. You're like those people who claim America's laws don't apply to them cuz they're 'free citizens' or w/e their excuse was. lol (P.S. you're 6 days late to this party.)

They're doing their jobs when they catch you speeding, or bust you for drugs when all you were doing was 'having a good time' and they're doing their jobs when they save you from a home-invading rapist. They are being useful along the entire spectrum whether you like it or not. You don't get to pick and choose which parts of a police officer's job you like or want to keep. Teachers are doing their jobs when they give you homework and detention, and parents are doing their jobs when they ground y…

Absolutely not. Do your job, and try to do it well. Being an officer is a thankless job, but there are plenty of us who appreciate the work of the ones who are doing it right, and to the best of their ability. Even if you're out there doing your best, you'll always come home to jackasses on reddit who spit on the police officer profession, and it sucks, but again there are those of us who still appreciate your service.

Most people who hate cops do so because they have a reason to... not a GOOD reason, mind you, but they hate cops because "Argh, I got a speeding ticket," or "Argh, I personally have never had a bad experience with a cop, but I saw a video once of a cop treating someone unfairly." They hate cops because cops are the ones that catch them doing something they shouldn't be. Same as why students hate teachers. I appreciate you reading this conversation 6 days late, but... How does one hurt you more than the other? Doodoohead doesn't affect you because you realized as you got older that that's a silly childish insult. Like I started this whole conversation, a word or insult is only as hurtful or powerful as you let it be. Something that most people learn as kids is that words can't hurt you. Well, as I said in other replies, these aren't the smartest people. Their 'fight or flight' instinct kicks in, and they just lock their arms in front of them. If you notice, you feel way more in control if you do that as opposed to having them behind your back, which is why cuffing behind backs is even a thing. Kind of like when a cat gets its head stuck in something, it reverses until it gets out of that thing. That's just the instincts. To them, it's rational: Head went in, head should just pu…

didn't have a whiny crybaby fit like that child in the video. Idunno, your responses and willingness to carry on about this seems pretty childish to me. Not my fault you can't read things regarding to a specific context. Stop resisting~. P.S. My grammar was fine, but that's another point altogether.
/r/PussyPassDenied01/02/17 01:42 AM

I'm referring to people who act like this woman in the video: "People who resist arrest." People who fight the cop when told to put their hands behind their back. I said it, you even quoted it. Context clues, m'boy. You have been arrested, and DIDN'T RESIST arrest, therefore i'm not talking about you.
/r/PussyPassDenied01/02/17 12:20 AM
6

Then you're not involved in the group of ppl i'm talking about. I was talking about ppl resisting arrest. You didn't resist, and no one is watching YOUR dashcam video cuz it'd be boring. :p
/r/PussyPassDenied31/01/17 10:34 PM

Right. Like I told someone else, we only see the videos of the dumb people resisting arrest. The videos of smarter ppl getting arrested don't get any views because that's boring~ :p

I'm sure it's obvious, but these people usually aren't the brightest. Their brain is in panic-mode and the one thing they still have power over in this situation is keeping their arms in front of them and trying to rationalize/excuse their way out of the situation. Until they get pepper sprayed/tased.

There's a difference between 'learning a moral from a story' and 'emulating fiction.' I honestly don't see how this is a hard concept for you. It boggles my mind. All Mario ever does is save the princess by murdering people. Does that mean all women are damsels in distress? Does that mean killing is okay? Sometimes there's no 'deep meaning' or 'social outlook on reality.' Sometimes you're just a fucking plumber killing turtles and rescuing a princess. Sometimes you're just humans fighting demons…

Fiction alters the perception of reality? So scantily-clad women, and over-muscular men means we should ALL strive to emulate them? Sure, because none of us have free will. Even someone like you can understand when something is fictional! If you're that stupid that you think any fiction has any sway over your life, then you're easily manipulated and lack a sense of self. Hey! Maybe 'the force' really does exist! Why? Cuz I saw it in a movie! Oh! And Sonya wears skimpy clothing, that MUST mean wo…

Stock reply? Was pretty sure I wrote that myself.... shit. My reply wasn't directed at any thing you said in particular. It was an addendum to the conversation. My point is that the fictional character and the world they live in that is also fictitious doesn't matter to us in the real world. It does not affect our lives. Anyone who believes otherwise is idiotic. So to say "The creator is the one who put this fictional character in skimpy clothing, and this makes all women appear as sex objects!"…

Stupid Mortal Kombat, portraying all men with perfect muscular bodies. I find that highly offensive that they think all men should look like this. And why is one a lizard? How am I supposed to look like a lizard?! These impossible standards. UGH.
/r/PussyPassDenied02/09/16 12:47 AM

You're exactly right. Ipso facto, you shouldn't care what these fictional women wear, as they're just polygons/ink. Are you starting to see the point?
/r/PussyPassDenied02/09/16 12:39 AM

Are you saying that fictional female characters have no mind of her own? So what, all fictional women are brainless idiots to you? Slaves to men's will? NOW who's belittling women?
/r/PussyPassDenied01/09/16 11:37 PM

Yeah, I like to believe the fictional female (of their respective game) chose their own outfit. They're adults. If they want to raid tombs, shoot/fight their enemies, or slay low-level mobs in skimpy clothing that's their business.

Among other things in this video, yes. But beforehand, (If he mentioned it in the video, I only watched it once) if she trespassed but left before the cops showed up and didn't do any property damage, it unfortunately comes down to a 'he said/she said' even if they do a follow-up investigation checking on her. This video may be the only time she got more violent/physical, with the cops catching her in the act.

My dad's a sergeant, often we'd wrestle when I was younger, and we're guys so we rough-house.
