You're welcome ❤️ I just had my first at 36 after trying for some time so I'm always happy to spread the word on TTC issues haha

Not necessarily on the issue of finding a partner, but if you wants kids once you have one, start taking care of your fertility now, so when you get there, you can get pregnant quickly. Learn how to chart your cycle and invest in your health with exercise and a good diet, then the biological clock gets a little more forgiving and you have more time 😉

Might be worth joining dating websites that are specific for your religion - if you have one, but sounds like you do. I know of several women who were able to find a good match, since everyone there is starting with the same goal, to find a spouse to spend life together, and are aligned within the same values.

Maybe you were in the wrong neighborhood in Paris, aka a nicer one in which people don't catcall. Go to Latin America, there's a 99% chance of being catcalled there for the simplest thing, like having long hair and tight jeans. But if you're just looking for some sort of looks validation, there's other ways. Flirting at a bar, or party could be one. Exchanging looks at public transport, etc. I avoid these like the plague, but hey, if that's your cup of tea, it's not hard to get male attention of…

Have you looked at your hormone levels? They have a big role in Sex drive. I'd recommend talking to a obgyn or reproductive endocrinologist.

Yea... It's weird, but that made me take longer to figure out the diagnosis 🙃 figuring out what was the problem made all the difference in my mindset and how my husband sees it too. We're both excited to get the surgery and take care of this legit health problem, and not a vague ✨infertility✨ issue. Thank God for good doctors.

Thank you ❤️ the only telltale was ✨unexplained infertility ✨ (and some weird digestive issues), so I did a laparoscopy with a napro doctor and they found a bunch of endo all over, hopefully with the second procedure they clean it up so the inflammatory process stops killing my poor eggs 😣

Yes, turns out I have endometriosis even though I don't get really painful periods. Will get surgery for it next month and see if it helps.

Yeah, that's a no for me.

Question is: why would you want to?

I like eMeals. They are paid but the main feature I like is integration with grocery delivery services like Walmart Grocery, Amazon Fresh, etc. I can choose the recipes, they export the ingredients into a list and send them to Walmart (for example) for you to approve each individually.

A lot of this comes with time and experience. Just try doing different things, and really stop and think about all the steps that go into what you are doing. Fucking up also is part of the learning, it helps you not make that same mistake again. Ask stupid questions, and honestly, when in doubt, just Google something and you will find your answer. I wasn't trained on housekeeping either, and most things I'm still figuring out, but I found that the internet can be a great resource. Example: I nee…

The bright side of what you're saying is: you identified the problem, and have the humility to admit your fault. And a simple answer to help you, although I'm not sure how easy it is to implement is: to think of the other's needs. To actively think about it "what could I do for this person?". Practice with people you're not romantically involved first. And to not expect anything in return. Maybe even go to do charity work, stuff like that. That mindset would easily translate into a marriage. I'm…

About feeling formal wearing dresses, I understand. I used to feel the same. Maybe it's the style of dresses you are going for. Luckily there is a fashion of long dresses and skirts coming back and some feel really modern and casual. You can even wear them with sneakers. Then maybe once you're comfortable wearing those, transition to more "traditional dresses" if that's something you're interested in.

I had the same problem. The only thing that works for me is lifting weights. And beware of crossfit, because they have a lot of cardio and that might make you lose weight at the end, if you're not careful. I started training powerlifting, and naturally my hunger increased, which helped in gaining muscle, and at the end I gained 10lbs or so, but without looking fat.

I'm not sure if this is the complete solution, but maybe a good tip is to just listen more than you speak. If you don't express all your opinions to people maybe you can come across as more agreeable. And maybe that exercise helps you actually get there for real.

Maybe it gets lost in translation (it's originally in Portuguese). What I mean is the "dating category", as in, "single people dating". Of course married people continue to "have dates". But hey, no need to get defensive. You came to the forum for honest opinions, mine is just one of them. If he really wanted to commit to you in 2 years, he would be making plans today to make that happen. That sounds to me that he just doesn't want to break your heart too much and is promising something unrealis…

I heard a great idiom the other day: "All dating is meant to end" - either it ends ends, or it becomes a marriage. What's the point of waiting? What would 2 years of sleeping around do to progress the relationship into something eternal? You know what the answer is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
