You're probably right about that. God knows I've been drunk enough to not be in my own right mind before, and I've done things while intoxicated that I regret.

What I'm saying is that if you're not feeling well (roofie or not), then trying to suck it up and get through the date is not very attractive. No decent man wants puke on his shoes, or for his date to suddenly collapse. And even if you get through the date without getting violently ill, you're not really putting your best face out there. It's better to apologize, cut the date short, go home or to the hospital, and get yourself better.

I can recap your post with this summary: If you're in a situation where you're unsure if you've been roofied, consequences are dire if you get it wrong. Either you get raped, or you've labeled an innocent man a rapist. It sucks. But can you clarify something for me? If you were starting to feel drunk very quickly, if you were concerned, why didn't you just cut the date short, apologize and call a cab home? I can assure you that decent guys will understand completely the "not feeling well". They …

Actually, I did not marry a traditional Asian woman. I married a 5'11", redheaded California girl. Her recent ancestry is Irish - no Asian in her, as far as I know.

As it happens, I have a decently low sex drive, so what you've described is about my usual mentality. It's been that way for as long as I can remember, including back in high school. Over the years, I've found two, maybe three women that I am fond of. I married one of them because she was my best friend and had demonstrated a willingness and capability of meeting my emotional needs when I need her to. She's intelligent and funny. She CAN be crazy sometimes, admittedly. Admittedly, for a very lon…

My thought: yes, you should. Smiling can be highly attractive, because it indicates a confidence in oneself. It communicates being comfortable in your environment, and that right there is something that women look at. But don't force the smile. That's worse than not smiling.

I only have this to say. I'm not normally a religious man. But Jesus, I pray that Andrew Bagby and his son are together wherever they are, safe and happy. And I wish bitterly that Shirley Turner is getting her just rewards.

I'm 26, married with 2 girls. The first is 2.5 years old, the other is 9 months. I was raised in a home where my father was rarely home, and my mother had made a pact with me that I could question her and her decisions in private, so I could better understand the reasons behind her decisions. I made use of it frequently, and I respect her greatly for it. Stumbled upon the red pill last week and some of the articles really hit a chord with me, explaining the mild sense of dissatisfaction with the…

I work out semi-regularly. My diet mostly consists of healthy amounts of meat and a large amount of carbohydrates. Been trying to lose a bit of weight - slow going.

Perhaps I used a poor choice of words. I know that "bottom" does not inability to be dominant. I was attempting to express that my wife believes me to be naturally very submissive sexually.

As it happens, I can sympathize a great deal about the whole dominance bit. It's been... difficult... for me to actually be dominant in bed without feeling that same guilt and worry that I may be going too far. My wife even believes I may be a "bottom". I'm not sure yet. This subreddit has been eye-opening, that much is very clear.

I concur that the problem is not objectification, sexual objectification. It, like many things in life, thrives in shades of grey. Here's my understanding of the issue: just like men are not simply machines generating income for their dependents without feelings or dreams of their own, women are not simply objects that are only good for sex without feelings or dreams of their own. There are many people, men and women alike, who treat other people as objects without feeling, as numbers stripped o…

Not finishing with my girlfriend (later wife) led to some relationship problems - largely a lowering of self-confidence on her part, which is hugely unattractive. It was actually all my fault - I was a virgin, and nerves and anxiety kept me from finishing properly. But even so... I highly do not suggest trying this. If you do make her think that it's her fault, frustration can and will ruin the sexual atmosphere. If she thinks it's your fault, that may lead to less sex. I reference above - she t…

I appreciate the input. It makes a lot of sense, really. My two children are both girls, though, so it will definitely be interesting. Trying to raise them to be honorable and respectful, while at the same teaching them about how the world is today, looks like it'll be a challenge.

My parents went the same route - praising for working hard. It led to my good work ethic, and has helped bring me to where I am today. Married, two kids, with a house and a job I enjoy. I fully plan on incorporating it into raising my kids as well.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
