This is my belief as well. These beauty standards are so damn ridiculous.

Plastic surgery is something I always knew as bad, I just didn’t know how to word it when I was younger. I’ve noticed that when women get one procedure done like fillers, they will almost always do more to their face due to finding more insecurities and to “fix” them. They say it like, “If it makes me feel better about myself then what’s the problem?” The problem is that it doesn’t make you feel better about yourself. It makes you more insecure because the real problem is your self love of yours…

I found this sub by men trash talking it as well. Thank god for them. This sub has been an awakening for me.

Lol at the “high maintenance” comment. They think everything is high maintenance like getting flowers that are like 4 dollars or taking us out to eat. YAWN.

Wonderfully said. When I was in pickme phase, I used to wonder this and would try harder to appear conventionally attractive so men could look at me more and approach me. Now the thought makes me cringe and I hope they DON’T look at me.

Of course they fired you. Not even surprised. Typical misogyny at work again.

I see this all the time on social media. It gives me a headache and I feel like venting on here when I see it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
