Shared that I had an eating disorder, got told it was good that guys have more pressure on their body image these days. What now? Now, you find out the underlying reason why you have an eating disorder and work to correct it. Don't worry about what others think. If you find it difficult to stop worrying about other people, you might have a chemical imbalance and may need to deal with that (i.e. with a doctor's help) Edit: I'm saying you should focus on making yourself healthy first | /r/MensRights | 27/03/16 03:38 PM
"Men Not to Fuck in 2k16" Isn't this little tumblrina a huge ray of sunshine?Use an archiver next time. Who cares who she fucks or doesn't fuck? Edit: what does this have to do with men's rights? She's stating her sexual preferences. That's her business, not ours | /r/MensRights | 02/01/16 04:46 PM
Thought you guys would enjoy thisThis is called gamification. I'm glad to see it's being used for a good purpose. | /r/MensRights | 11/05/15 09:41 PM
What can be done to encourage men to enter the caring professions?Remove potential obstacles (whether they be societal or personal), but otherwise, I wouldn't "encourage" someone into a career s/he might not be suited for. Especially not if it's just for the sake of having more x in y profession Edit: forgot a word | /r/MensRights | 20/01/15 06:02 AM
Origin and basis of the wage gap myth? There is a wage gap. Women make less money through wage than men do. The reasons are plenty but also irrelevant. The difference is what wage gap means. A wage is the rate of pay, for example salary or hourly wage. Are you trying to claim that woman are paid less per hour worked than men are? I'd like some sources on this that control for hours worked and other factors like that. Women earn less money, there's a difference Edit: forgot a "you" | /r/MensRights | 18/12/14 03:27 PM
Origin and basis of the wage gap myth?Incorrect. There's an earnings gap, which is to say that you'll earn less money over your lifetime if you take more time off. That time off could be due to pregnancy, sick days, etc. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/14 03:13 PM
Just need to vent for a moment. Why do you talk to a bigot who frustrates you like that? Is she likely to see through the pit of... well... you know that she's swimming in? Maybe just a) stop telling her about your issues (she clearly doesn't care), b) stop talking to her at all, or c) continue to bash your head against a wall of ignorance. I suppose you could point out that she's not a white male (anymore at least). | /r/MensRights | 29/09/14 02:56 PM
4chan explains Tits or GTFO, true equalityNo. It's saying that someone is not special because of their gender. Women are not inferior nor are they superior. They do not have special rights on the internet. | /r/MensRights | 17/07/14 01:38 PM
Saw this on Facebook, don't know if repost but it makes me angry.http://www.slate.com/articles/double_x/doublex/2013/08/gender_pay_gap_the_familiar_line_that_women_make_77_cents_to_every_man_s.html - Note that the author of this is a well known feminist who frequently argues that men are obsolete. Also, check out Dr Warren Farrell's book "Why Men Earn More" | /r/MensRights | 02/03/14 12:09 AM
Saw this on Facebook, don't know if repost but it makes me angry. They would likely argue that "women only make 77 cents on the dollar for the same work." It's factually incorrect but they don't care because it's a sound byte. | /r/MensRights | 01/03/14 04:42 PM
For those who own "Why Men Earn More": Where is Farrell's source that if you separate women who are never married and without children it flips the wage gap? There is a pay gap in America, but the question is more along the lines of "Why is there a gap?" Some folks will claim that there's an overarching system that seeks to suppress those in the outgroup (i.e. not like me with my dangly bits) whilst others look at lifestyle choices (working 50 hours a week instead of 40, constant employment vs periods of absence, danger vs safety, etc) to conclude that these choices more than anything influence the take home pay. Nevermind what happens to said money … | /r/MensRights | 25/02/14 03:03 AM
For those who own "Why Men Earn More": Where is Farrell's source that if you separate women who are never married and without children it flips the wage gap?Dunno about the book, but there is this: http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2012/12/the-4-rich-countries-where-women-out-earn-men-with-1-huge-caveat/266343/ | /r/MensRights | 24/02/14 07:45 PM
A refreshing sight to find here in Sweden!Feminist response: "Men's/handicapped/molestation" j/k. It's nice to see some places understand that fathers are parents too | /r/MensRights | 24/02/14 06:31 PM
Obama just repeated his 77 cent figure at the State of the UnionThere isn't exactly a glass bottom, because people don't pay a lot of attention to male homeless, labourers or prisoners | /r/MensRights | 29/01/14 04:55 AM
Babysitter kills 23 month old boy because he wouldn't stop crying. Judge gives her 5 years and requires a yearly donation of just $1 to a charity of her choosing.Serves to highlight the differences in sentencing between men and women? | /r/MensRights | 15/01/14 01:15 AM

Had she been a man, she'd have been arrested LONG ago.Other than the stupidity of the story, I got that her first initial and last name is K. Hunt. Not relevant, but I giggled a little. | /r/MensRights | 20/08/13 06:23 PM

10-Year-Old Girl Accused Of Raping 4-Year-Old Boy Arrested And Could Become Sex Offender... No... They don't. Being anally penetrated (if that's what happened) isn't something kids do "all the time." However, we don't know for a fact that that's what happened, so I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the 10 year old that it was just an inappropriate game and not anal rape. | /r/MensRights | 11/08/13 08:15 PM
ProgressIn the prejudice section of my social psychology textbook, David G Myers writes "Question: 'Misogyny' is the hatred of women. What is the corresponding word for the hatred of men? Answer: In most dictionaries, no such word exists" Textbook is Social Psychology (this is 4th canadian edition) by Myers, Spencer, and Jordan | /r/MensRights | 11/08/13 09:45 AM
Atheism+, Skepchick, FtB feminists going all out in attempt to destroy the skeptic movement: Ben Radford and physicist Lawrence Krauss accused of sex assault, Bill Nye accused of harassment, DJ Grothe accused of misogyny, Michael Shermer ACCUSED OF RAPE by PZ Myers. This is beyond fucking insane.Every concept is rape! And every uh... thing | /r/MensRights | 10/08/13 05:43 AM
