So it's perfectly fine for men to lie to obtain sex by any means necessary Yes but it's not ok for me to-- No, shut up

Looool the biggest violation of body autonomy to ever exist affects men exclusively and is still legal in most countries

We also haven’t had a draft in over 50yrs (thankfully). The duality between using this discourse to diminish the issue the draft is vs. Using "but women couldn't vote in some countries till the 70s!!!" As a talking point
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 03:47 AM

Picking on the weakest point of the post cuz you can't argue with the rest, eh?

Today men also have to earn them. That's what I'm talking about and you don't seem to understand. It's not that men also have to work for a relationship today, it's that it's almost exclusively men who have to work to get one nowadays. Note that I was never talking in the past tense, thinking that this was not a conversation about the present was a mistake on your part.

If that doesn't seem like work to you - try it sometime. I won't, and you won't as well, because this is not a modern day problem which our generation ever had to experience. I'm not afraid of being killed by gengis khan's army or the black plague, because these are things from the past. Interestingly, women who make these talking points are often the same ones who dismiss men talking about the draft because "it has not happened in 50 years"

"too" ? Excuse me, where in western society do women have even half as hard of a time as men to earn a relationship?

Objectifying themselves when it's convenient for them. Of course they love being viewed as the prize
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 03:07 PM

Would you stop making the same post every week? All of your reddit history boils down to "men want sex and they're bad for it," don't you ever get tired?

It's just funny that women's problems are either the most serious stuff possible, like "I'm afraid my ex is going to murder me" or it's the most futile, totally solvable barely-issue you'll ever hear about.

having a platonic female friend is just a massive slap in the face It is just unsustainable/not viable for some men. I'm a guy and never had any issues making guy friends at all, but only ever had 1 girl-friend, and even that kind of doesn't count as we ended up having sex in a few weeks of meeting eachother. Some women like to say men and women can be platonic friends and even that they "would like to be a guy's friend the way his male friends are", but it's just not healthy. It's not like wome…

what women you don't know how they feel about being alone. If they were as lonely as we are you'd see them bitching about it as much as we do. Plus I trust my observations.

Your arm won't fall off if you recognize there are some problems faced by men which are not internal by nature. There are things which can't be solved by talking to some guy once a week. Now, personally I recognize I'm introverted and not the easiest person to talk to, but it shouldn't justify this level of isolation. I observe women like me can get away with it easily, and live without worrying so much about being alone, and that's all I wished.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 12:36 AM

Tried. Slightly better but in the end, it's the same mold. "It's not manly to worry about these things. Focus on your studies, hobbies and health." Like yeah, you shitwit, I'm already acing every subject in college, have fun doing my own stuff and eat well since I can remember, but being a man is still lonely as lonely can be.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 12:05 AM

Yup, going to therapy to have a woman tell you to ignore and supress your totally reasonable and realistic reaction to the way you're treated is the way to go 👍

Yeah and my father was shot for 40 bucks in today's money and no one besides family gave a shit or talked abt it, because terrible stuff happening to men is the norm. The truth is most don't care too much about others, but the effect is magnified to men due to how common violence against men is. You'll seldom hear about the shocking 1000 homicides this year, instead they'll talk about the 80 women that were tragically murdered the same period. but men refused to see that at all. It's not refusin…

Yeah lol it's just annoying women whining everywhere about feeling unsafe and this and that, can't walk alone anywhere, can't leave the house etc. If you weren't from earth and heard it you'd think women are hunted for sport every solstice and their bones are used to make cutlery.

Honestly, why should anyone care you don't "feel" safe when statistics show that you simply are safer than men? Some women will say stuff like "make women feel safe!" When they already are very much so, and it bugs th out of me why they'd feel that way.

Yeah bro no shit people do bad things for some reason, we've all watched these shows were the villain actually has a tragic past. Still, you're not, for any reason, morally entitled to trashy actions to the point of thinking the world owes you understanding. Someone has their reasons to be an asshole. Cool, they're still not in grounds to demand comprehension, at least not before they overcome it and act like a decent human, then I'd sit and listen why they were like that.

to lower their standards to that of men’s Yeah lol? Isn't it implicit when we're talking "if women did as men do"?

You stated "approaching like men" before, and that's what I'm working with. Again, approaching only hot people or those you're immediately attracted to is not how men approach women. To some men, not being obese and looking like a human are the only requirements to approach someone, and if women suddenly started to magically share same-level requirements, thus "approaching men like men approach women," then yes, it would change dating a lot for most men. It would level a bit in the sense that me…

You're not describing a "women approaching like men" scenario, you're literally just stating how things currently are. Approaching only hot people is not how men approach women.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/26 02:09 AM

And did so wrongly, average women disregard average men because they can "afford" attractive men, plus they have the sense of security that they could be with an average man any time they wish so. Take these away and you'd see how similar to men women would behave, we're not that different.

women approaching in the ways men do would change men’s dating prospects ? Yes it would. Who do you think women would be approaching if they were going to go out of their way to do so? Attractive guys would be approached enough so they'd reject average women, which in turn would approach average men and you can see where this'd go

Fr, how "straight" women be acting when men want to have sex with them
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 05:12 PM
1

That all works to a certain point, I'm young and conventionally attractive, but an average woman still naturally gets more compliments and attention. And again, I believe there's more to it than men simply getting less compliments thus they only think they'd enjoy it, it's already been shown that men have higher sex drives and think about sex more often. There are some inherent differences in our way of thinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 04:37 PM

Does it matter for this point what would happen in practice? Most men view it in a good light and believe they'd enjoy it, and that notion dictates how they act. What would actually happen if they experienced it doesn't really matter here, does it? (And even then I seriously doubt men would strongly dislike that cuz of higher libido)

That comment tells you nothing, cuz it's just taken from a post a few months ago of a woman saying she only feels like attention is objectifying when it comes from ugly men. That has as much value as you saying some man said something btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 03:22 PM

Yeah, just when it comes from ugly people isn't it? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 03:19 PM

Yeah I'm 6ft tall, fit and with nice hair, and I do enjoy it when I get attention, from women cuz I get a chance to "attack", and from men cuz it's reassurance I'm nice-looking/desirable. There, you have an opposite testimony now.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 03:11 PM

Men treat women how they'd like to be treated themselves, and it's that simple. In some other comments you made, you claimed to have a deep, insightful and thorough understanding of men, sure you would know something this basic right?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 03:04 PM

Are these men in the room with us?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 02:58 PM

You're the one in denial lol. sexually explicit things men will shout at you in the street We're talking about the opposite gender, not necessarily men. But even then, I've been explicitly hit on by gay men before and my arm didn't fall off because of it. One of them said, drunkely during a party, that he'd like to suck my dick while I eat my gf. In fact, being hit on by gay men is often perceived by men as a sign you're attractive, and not a terrible thing at all. You can just dismiss these thi…

How does it harm you and why do you think it's important that an effort is made to stop it? Do you go home and cry every time someone says ur hot?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 02:46 PM

Don't threaten me with a good time. Yes, being called hot by a random person would make most men's day.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 02:45 PM

Except catcalling or 'objectifying' isn't equivalent to shoving fingers into someone. Like, if a guy doesn't ever interact with you in any way other than calling you hot once or asking you out in a bar then leaving, how does that harm you? Yes, he was probably just attracted to your body, and? I genuinely want to understand why so many of you hit on that key so much, putting it up there with violence and other big problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 02:40 PM

Eh, men treat women how they'd like to be treated themselves, it's not a matter of "evil men making my life worse for the sake of it", hence why it's probably futile to try to get (some) men to empathize with this specific branch of women's problems; you can't complain about what sounds like a good time to them and expect them to go "yeah that's tough". Personally it's easy for me to know you don't enjoy it that much, but nearly impossible to understand what goes on in your head that would make …

/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 01:21 PM

Define what objectifying and how you suffer from it. (I'll now proceed to watch you describe what sounds like normal sexual desire to most men, sip my tea, and realize that misalignment in our mindsets is where most of gendered problems stem from)
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 01:14 PM

You were not supposed to reply to that. You know I'm right, don't try to argue, just listen quietly, get the message and move on.

Lol so weird that you in particular are putting transactional value in the weirdest shit ever, it's just an objectively bad take. "Oh, you want that guy to stop shouting racial slurs at you? But have you ever tried to understand why he's racist?" Makes about as much sense as you rn
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 12:52 PM

If a guy dismissed everything you complain about as you being whiny, you wouldn't care to know why he does it more than you'd just wish him to act decently. So, you want understanding when you yourself don't care to understand? False equivalency, having empathy for someone else's problems and caring to understand why a person would ignore/dismiss someone else's problems, are two different things. Men do the former and would appreciate it in return.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 12:39 PM

understand why they are like that? Most of us don't care, cooking up excuses to not be a decent person doesn't help you
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 12:28 PM

Yeah if you actually wanted to fuck, a small minority of men saying you're a slut behind your back wouldn't impede you. Not wanting to have sex is fine and you can't really do anything about it, but what you could and should do, is to stop gaslighting men into believing it's their fault women don't want to fuck most of them. "Slut shaming" "it's riskier for women" "men are creepy" it's all bullcrap, you just have less libido lol.

But we’re not, and that’s what nature intended Nature intended for us to chase wild animals and drink muddy water somewhere in the tropics, yet here we are. Also, men wouldn’t actually like it if we were sluts Myth, you overestimate how much others care about you

Women who are into most men shouldn't be a minority. If women were into monst men as men are into most women, everyone would be happier.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/26 01:26 AM

*try to. If you're chopped and fat and attracted to a hot person, sure, do your best, but it is unrealistic to expect it will go well for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 04:21 PM

It's not unrealistic for a woman to want to date someone she's attracted to. Depending on which woman (and which man she wants do date), yes it is. Again, wtf, there shouldn't be any debate on this, it's just obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 04:14 PM

Jesus, people are lacking so much common sense nowadays. Who are you or anyone to tell someone what is realistic or not? Ofc a fat lady with bad hair and poorly dressed wanting to date a conventionally attractive man is unrealistic, it's not like anyone needs a certificate to state the obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 04:00 PM

That's the point, you and many other "straight" women seem to hate the very concept of being sexually desired. The idea of a a woman not really liking the personality of a dude, but still choosing to interact with him because of his irresisrible genitals doesn't sound bad at all to most men. Women will complain about what sounds like a good time and then wonder why men say they're not straight.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/26 03:39 PM

Just for curiosity, what do you think is the reason why women don't like men immediately the way men do with women? I couldn't really think of an explanation myself, but attraction seems to be such a one way thing it's frustrating.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/26 03:17 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
