I don't think that is right. And ad in the same vein directed towards males, that never mention females, would be perfectly acceptable, no? I don't see why this isn't. Like I said, the omission is more of a dissappointment than a disgust. I recognise that it is an ad with a focus, and one or two lines added (Fathers, sons, brothers) and a few changed (no specific genders) and it would be perfect. this ad perpetuates the myth that only women get raped. Saying it perpetuates this myth is false. It doesn't once mention that assault and rape only effect women. It just seeminly ignores the fact that men also suffer from these things. I wouldn't say it's disgusting. Perhaps slightly misguided, by focusing on only women, but certainly a positive message, discouraging assault. If it mentioned sons, fathers etc, then it would be a perfect ad.

Well, notice how all examples were internet based? It is true that if found to be doing something hurtful on the internet you may get prosecuted. He was making confidential information available publically. He should have jail time. The guy who posted photos of his ex also deserved it. So did the two defacing the FB pages of the murder victims. Even if your country doesn't jail people whom do this sort of thing, I think they deserve it. Freedom of speech only applies when not directly hurting a specific person. Breaching privacy and defacing the pages of murder victims ain't something I want people to get away with.

Agreed. Both countries have their flaws and both have their beneifits. As long as I feel safe and content where I am and you feel the same where you are, I suppose there isn't much point in arguing it.

I was using the top position as an example. All of your Presidents have been male, straight and either Christian or Catholic (Not that I really differentiate the two). This from a country that is always first to preach about its freedoms and how everyone gets a free chance. Meanwhile, poeple are lying about their beliefs, sexuallity to avoid getting abused or murdered. Women are told what they can do with their bodies by your government. Not everyone in your country has equal rights.

As far as I am aware no Aboriginal has run for Prime Minister. They are certainly in politics. If they wanted too and their politics were better than the other side (Assuming they are with either Liberals or Labour, it's not meant to be a two party system but just like America that is how it seems to work.) they would win.

On paper, probably none. But in reality, more. Australia is a safer country, with less descrimination against minorities of any kind. And the religiosity of America is the exact opposite of what the Founding Fathers wanted. Tell me that everyone in your country has equal rights when you have someone whom isn't a Christian\Catholic or straight or male in the President position.

I'm pretty sure I have as many if not more rights than you. The reason some games were banned is due to the OFLC not having a rating above MA15+. We now have an R18+ rating for games so this should no longer happen in the future.
