Also one of the reasons we should abolish the death penalty - humans will simply never get it right 100% of the time. exactly, "strict liability" means that you're guilty, EVEN IF YOU WERE ACTIVELY AND INTENTIONALLY DECEIVED. It doesn't matter why you did it, you're guilty - period, end of discussion, case closed. TECHNICALLY you'd still be guilty even if the minor forced you into it at gunpoint. Strict Liability means there is NO excuse that gets you out of trouble; none whatsoever.

I sincerely hope the repercussions weren't life altering they were, i fought the charges for 2 years and ultimately had to drop out of college and quit my job, just to spend a mere 8 weeks in jail. Then, weed was decriminalized while I was on probation for it. it's behind you now It finally is. It took 8 years, but I'm back in school and working on having my record expunged.
