In all fairness, 99% of Tumblr users are moronic teenagers.... So this isn't really surprising.

Getting a virus isn't the issue, it's just a concern. I wouldn't be afraid to tell my kid "no, don't kiss the stripper that is here to entertain THE ADULTS, it's your OLDER brothers party, and it would be inappropriate for you to kiss that woman on the mouth." (I would be content with a little kiss to the cheek, as I said before) But I wouldn't have to tell my son that, because I wouldn't bring my son to a party with strippers, just like I wouldn't bring my son into a strip club. Because it isn'…

On the chance that you probably don't know the person, their habits, or what they do in their spare time. I bet a fun story to tell your kid is "Hey remember that time you got a cold sore from kissing a stripper? Good times kiddo good times" And the fact that it's just inappropriate.

At the end of the day, a kiss on the cheek would have been more appropriate. A kiss on the mouth? Really? I doubt any parent out there would give the go ahead for a stripper to kiss their son or daughter on the lips. A cheek was right there, now unless he forced that mouth kiss. I still see it as that woman being in the wrong. If he forced it, then he is in the wrong.

I feel like the woman reporting that, was extremely condescending. Kind of like she was on the verge of bursting into giggles because she thought the story was so silly. Welcome to the biased reality that is rape culture. American woman gets raped in India by 3 guys. Clear cut rape case and is on the front page of /r/worldnews . Man get's raped and killed by 6 women? Nothing.

Best bit about that link is the huge backlash in the comments.

Sticks and stones may break your bones but calling people names will damage them emotionally and make you a bad person because feminists are people too.

I wonder how big this story would be if the victim was a female and the offender in question was male...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
