But it doesn't mean anything - Its a list of excuses - If a women WAS having sex with you on a consistent basis, and if there are no mental (real) / medical /physical issues and THEN she doesn't want to have sex with you this EQUALS Sexless Marriage. It's not a list of excuses, it's a list of reasons. I think even if these exist in the relationship it's still a sexless marriage by definition. lets just assume that screwing twice basically equals no sex drive which equals no sex. I was going of t…

It's higher than I thought honestly, but it's not majority. Seems like completely sexless is pretty damn low, but monthly-ish is around 10% according to wikipedia (lazy). I disagree that you've necessarily been scammed. I mean, TECHNICALLY that could have happened, but there are many other reasons for loss of sexual interest. Here's a list. Another. "I'm tired" Is a legitimate excuse, but you have to figure out: Why are they tired? Are they REALLY tired? Or are they avoiding the real reason. Lik…

Stats? I don't have access to the original article, but this report cites a paper published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine which found: vaginal intercourse (includes women not in relationships, also women from 18-70) 28% reported having it a few times per month/weekly 16% reported 2-3 times per week 15% reported a few times a year/monthly 4% reported more than 4 times per week Unfortunately, they don't mention how many were in relationships. They also don't mention other types of sexual behav…

I think they were referring to: 6 times a year is representative of a grossly mismanaged marriage Which doesn't apply to all cases, as implied by the quoted. It does apply, presumably, to the DB post.

What do you mean? Treebog didn't specify that sex isn't important for this couple/person. It is clear that sex is important for them, assuming he wasn't just making a joke.

It happens, and it's hypocritical. Of course, if it was a constant thing then questioning health isn't necessarily mean, but it sounds like that wasn't your case. I've used the excuse with my girlfriend and she gets it. If she did that to me I would be pissed.

Zero sex drive is not the typical case, and is not always part of a scheme.

"We deliberately use insults when describing a group of people, then get annoyed when they feel insulted. They're so weak minded."

I think it's important to note that it's completely normal for both people to have decreased sex drive over time in a committed relationship. It goes up and down (tehe).

"I don't feel like it" is still a legitimate reason in a relationship, for either partner.

This should be the top comment. Before something like this can be discussed, agreed upon explicit definitions of terms are necessary.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
