Hey, whatever makes you happy.

That’s a completely different topic, not what she said at all. You just interpreted that fsr. Yes, you can always choose better, but the red flags aren’t always obvious, otherwise, toxic relationships wouldn’t be a thing. Arguing otherwise is just as dumb & naive as thinking that looks determine how good a person is. It’s not impossible to choose better, but it’s unrealistic to think ppl can’t be deceived. As long as you’re self aware, and learn from your mistakes then you’re going to be fine.

Ofc, but as you can see, completely irrelevant to the point.

Yeaah no.

If you were rich/useful enough you would also be desired by women, which leads to the “provider/labor” objectification, but also leads to the good relationships a lot of men have. It’s a package deal.

That’s like saying an ATM machine is by definition a man who provides for his family, this is what men have done traditionally for years…that’s how dumb you sound. No one wants to be treated like an atm machine or a bang maid, that’s why it’s disliked. know the difference, and act accordingly.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/26 10:22 AM

Irrelevant to her point. She’s debunking a dumb stereotype. Looks don’t make you good or bad, so less attractive ≠ nice. That’s it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/26 10:17 AM

A pick me isn’t just a nice attractive woman. That’s like saying a simp is just your average gentleman attractive man. They’re usually pick me’s/simps for a reason. They put others down to get attention. they’re insecure & validation seekers. if you want that in a partner, it’s fine. But for smart ppl, they know that these traits will turn against them when in a LTR.

No it isn’t lol. Esp not on TikTok & insta. It mostly depends on your FYP. I see lots of women talk abt their crushes celeb or not, online & irl. Probably because I’m a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 11:56 AM
3

Women are more likely to do so with their female friends, than males. Celebrity crushes are a common topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 03:06 AM

Femcels DO exist, but they aren’t as loud or annoying as incels.

How come women aren’t blaming men for being single??. Make yourself more attractive & desirable, maybe then you won’t be single.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 05:14 PM

The average woman is not any less boring than the average man. And no, that’s not the reason. Many guys don’t even approach for it to get to that point. Men & women r just less social now, and that impacts every relationship, not just romantic ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 05:33 AM

I mean…if status & achievements r the metric, then most guys would be “unattractive” lol. But it’s not actually true that most guys are unattractive. holding onto that one old study (which has not even been replicated btw) doesn’t mean much.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 01:30 AM
-3

Exactly. that’s what many ppl don’t get abt “nice guys”. Niceness alone doesn’t spark attraction, it’s not a sexually appealing trait on its own (it’s the basic/bare minimum). Ppl understand that when it comes to men’s preferences, but play dump when it’s abt women fsr.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 07:52 PM
1

It’s “shared values”. Ppl cheat simply because they want to, even with the best relationship & partner, and you can’t do anything abt it. Anyway that’s not my point. my point is, if you want a healthy, satisfying LTR, be picky and choose someone compatible.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 07:31 AM
2

“content”. you have no idea. You just invented a scenario to get mad abt. Plenty of women with those qualities get cheated on. Physical attraction & emotional stability is important, but it’s not enough to for a LTR. what abt compatibility, chemistry, shared values, personality traits, vision etc. there’s no “upgrade” or “optimization”, different women prioritize different things in a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 07:15 AM
3

Yeah..I don’t think either are a “privilege” but there r pros & cons in being the one who’s supposed to approach/get approached. Having to approach is great because you don’t have to do many mind games just to signal to the girl you’re interested in, you can approach anyone you want. Obv the downsides would be facing rejection which is really hard to deal with & hits your self-esstem. Being the one getting approached is great because you don’t have to face direct rejection by ppl you’re interest…

Physical Preferences might change as you mature. But not really when u “get in shape”. The only difference between an overweight woman & a fit woman is the level of confidence & self-esteem.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 02:39 AM

Yes I saw a similar study where seeing an attractive man/woman lights up different parts of the brain in men & women. It was an interesting read, I wish I could find it lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 11:44 AM
1

Yes, if he has it all, or at least most of it. Women aren’t really “personality driven”, not that personality doesn’t matter but it’s usually not personality alone. It’s multiple factors that makes a desirable partner, basically quantity vs quality case. “E.g. heartthrobs”. all things considered these men are not only desirable but they’re also perceived as “save”. Women face more risks when involved with a man compared to vise versa (violence, pregnancy, disease, abandonment etc) so it’s only n…

You can have your preferences, there’s no such thing as “makes you deserve to demand”. I don’t think male virginity = sexually unsuccessful man. Attractive, tall, successful men can also be virgins due to religious beliefs or other reasons.

If you made decent money you could just not for a long time or as freely as the rich guy, But it is possible. just look at passport bros.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 02:28 PM
1

Except these aren’t “extremes” lol. If you were attractive & safe enough u could do it. Ppl w the highest body count aren’t necessarily the most attractive or rich.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 02:26 PM
1

They can be. Richer men r just more able to afford it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 07:02 AM
1

I don’t think you understand that there are women who are fine hooking up w a person they find attractive & do not care abt how they feel towards them. This isn’t a prostitute thing lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 07:00 AM
1

Having these thoughts is normal & fine as long as you keep it to yourself, and don’t let it effect the way you treat others.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 08:15 PM
1

This is weird. Hooking up is a normal thing esp w young ppl, it has nothing to do w prostitution. and if you were that desperate u can just move to where it’s legal.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 08:12 PM
1

I mean….isn’t the sugar daddy also using her lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 08:10 PM
1

That’s not “male objectification” lol. If you just wanna hookup there are also women who want just that besides prostitute. your point doesn’t make any sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 11:13 AM
1

You think the only women who want to hook up are prostitutes…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 11:11 AM
1

Yeah I’ve seen the reverse too. But who cares? as long as you aren’t hurting ur-self/anyone, you shouldn’t care abt what other ppl “strangers esp” think.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/25 02:24 AM
1

prostitution isn’t a preference.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/25 02:19 AM
1

What does that have to do with anything? One is having a preference, the other is an act, “if illegal”, is punished by law.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/25 02:17 AM
1

Well..yeah if you criticized others don’t be shocked when they do the same. People are allowed to have their preferences, both men & women. Some ppl r just too miserable to accept that.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/25 11:55 PM
1

They aren’t?? They’re usually called gold diggers. Or are insulted by incels because they want an attractive, tall guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/25 11:13 PM
1

Nope. Be reasonably attractive, financially stable/hardworking, compatible, fun & reliable is the standard for the average person regardless of gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/25 02:03 PM
1

Maybe because the attractive guy looks more youthful compared to the unattractive one who probably looks older than his age. Not sure if this is even a thing but who knows & who cares. As long as it’s legal & consensual it’s not wrong for a guy to prefer a younger partner, and a girl to prefer an attractive one.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/25 12:50 PM

Nope, women take & share more selfies it’s only natural they would be better at it. Also there r similar ratings studies outside of that one which shows different results “one was irl interview” and guys were rated more attractive compared to dating apps. Naturally more men than women = dating harder for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 01:31 PM
1

Women know how to take better pic/selfies so yes really. Also it does make a difference. There r more men than women on dating apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 12:56 PM
5

Ditch dating apps, also that rating is literally based on dating profiles which u can imagine, not exactly the best.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 11:26 AM
3

Great, that refers to my last point. Attractive men are seen as more competent “esp in the workplace” more so than other men and women so there’s that.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 07:16 PM
5

How is that determined exactly?? If u were attractive, well adjusted, and social as a young person you have it all. regardless of gender. Also both can have different advantages & disadvantages.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 06:51 PM
1

1- Facial attractiveness was and is still the determining factor of overall male attractiveness “and female” 2- women didn’t suddenly start caring abt looks or height it was always a thing and not just for physical attraction but also as an indication of health, good genes, physical strength, and even status “taller, attractive men/women earn more” 3-it isn’t black & white women compared to men on average select mates with the whole package “reasonably attractive, financially stable, kind/intell…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 04:37 PM

True, I didn’t say when women select for health it means intelligence. But the fact that intelligence is advantageous due to its correlation w things such as health, fitness, higher socioeconomic status etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 06:20 AM
1

Yes that’s what I meant by assortative mating, most men & women are with someone similar to their iq “meaning women w low iq don’t necessarily seek someone who’s high iq” the most intelligent men aren’t necessarily the most sought after as the case with the most attractive/wealthy. But intelligence is correlated with desirable features such as health “attractiveness”, and education level/job “income”.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/24 07:35 AM
1

overcomplicating. Physical attractiveness, status “in regards to studies and desirability it mostly refers to socioeconomic status” & desirable personality traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 09:02 PM
1

This is untrue, mismatches in intelligence lead to problems in relationships. That being said intelligence is one of the most assortative traits “meaning on average men pair up with women of similar intelligence level and vise versa”. It’s also as heritable as height so having a big gap w regards to intelligence level wouldn’t make humans smarter, same w height. Generally what women value “regardless of their intelligence level” is things you can assess “because that’s how it worked evolutionary…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 08:55 PM
1

True but I believe this is because on dating apps, men r just not that good at taking photos. There has been studies where men are rated similar to women when they’re shown on high quality video or irl as opposed to their “probably” unflattering profile pic. But this is what the bio is for “add interesting hobbies, ur height or athleticism, & job”.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 06:48 AM
1

By attractive they meant initial physical attraction, that’s normal lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 06:39 AM
1

I’m too shy to even look their way, so usually it doesn’t lead to anything lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 06:37 AM
2

Which reminds me of the dump “women want what other women want” despite forgetting the fact that it isn’t abt attention from other women that made this guy desirable in the first place but that most ppl just share similar preferences in regards to good looks, wealth, and social skills. Which means a selected few will get much more attention than others.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/24 06:50 AM
1

Yes certain amount of men & women get more attention than others.. That’s because despite the discouraging most ppl have similar preferences and dating those desirable men & women not only is ideal for u but it also increases ur “status” among others.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/24 06:46 AM
1

Not really both sides are concerned w the others preferences, so taking it into consideration doesn’t mean you don’t have standards or u aren’t a selector but smart. The handsome, athletic, tall and successful guy would realistically have more options “and higher quality ones” for a reason. Better advice would be to have reasonable/high standards while improving ur self physically, financially & emotionally.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/24 06:21 AM
1

This isn’t just women, passion in LT relationships overall decease with time for both. That being said women report less attraction to their partner overtime compared to men, so the problem most likely isn’t libido but decrease in male attractiveness & romance coupled w male higher sex drive.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/24 06:10 AM

I feel like this is just the struggle of being an older attractive but unsuccessful man. Younger wm want them for fun, and older women expect more than handsomeness & fun because they want to settle down. Which is fair because I also don’t trust them if they weren’t stable lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/24 05:59 AM
1

It depends the woman herself and her iq level, needless to say high iq alone doesn’t really increase attractiveness, but I imagine it would if it was coupled up w attractiveness, stability & social skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/24 10:47 PM
1

Mostly because it depends on the women and their preferences tend to vary in this regard “promiscuous women would prefer experienced men while less promiscuous women wouldn’t”. I don’t fancy a playboy but most men can’t be & aren’t playboys so it’s not something to worry abt as much as vise versa lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/24 05:45 PM
1

This effect was actually found for both men & women. Even in relationships men & women rate their LT partners as more physically attractive than average. Which isn’t surprising most ppl r average yet are dating and humans r social creatures. “But also u have to be at least decent looking for that to work”.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/24 05:14 PM
1

They weren’t. They were just undesirable. It wouldn’t make sense for women to desire less attractive low-status men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/24 09:46 AM
1

Why would women feel forced w men who were physically superior & had resources ? If they were truly “divided” and forced it wouldn’t be as extreme as 17 women for 1 man as they could had the ability to run away into the arms of the physically undesirable & low-status men lol. Logically they didn’t. They went under those who “can” protect them from such men.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 09:49 PM
1

Dividing up what exactly? Women just choose those men themselves which is why more women have passed on their DNA than men “17 x 1”.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 09:44 PM
1

Most men did not reproduce while the opposite was for women for a reason. Why do you think women select for attractive male traits “height athletic body” ?? Simply for protection. Ever seen the study where 17 women reproduced for 1 man ? In the “ancient world” Only the elite of men were begin selected by women. Nowadays dating is much easier.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 09:22 PM
1

Nope. People forget that look’s effect ur status and gives a hint about ur ability to protect and provide. Tall good looking men earn more “yes look it up”. EX. tall athletic men were more likely to survive in the wild which is why tall athletic men are attractive to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 07:26 AM
1

Women want attractive financially stable men w desirable personality traits “personality is subjective”. Everyone knows this but plays dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 07:14 AM
1

Begin average/unattractive doesn’t mean u can’t be w lots of ppl. Ppl who have low iq and are physically unattractive are more likely to be promiscuous than attractive intelligent men. Either way height isn’t due to influence it has always been a trait that is selected for and attractive in men. Hence the “tall”,dark and handsome.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 07:10 AM
1

That’s not what I said. But why do u think some of the most infamous serial killers/criminals Richard Ramirez, Ted bundy, Cameron herrin had groupis compared to the others???
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 04:51 PM
1

Those serial killer who attracted women r mostly physically attractive. U gotta have that first for the halo effect to work. If u were unattractive w bad attitude u will just be seen as a jerk.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 02:24 PM

No most of those famous psychopaths r physically attractive not due to their personality. It’s the halo effect. Jeremy Meeks, Richard Ramirez and Cameron Herrin.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 02:21 PM
1

Women don’t focus on mens body. Women mainly decide a male’s attractiveness based on his facial features, height & frame.
/r/RedPillWomen09/11/23 01:58 PM
1

Finding “good men” isn’t hard, but finding physically attractive, or successful, good men is.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 05:26 AM

Unless u have a god like jawline like Jeremy Meeks. It won’t look good.
/r/AllPillDebate02/11/23 05:22 AM

Nothing racist about having racial preferences.
/r/AllPillDebate19/09/23 05:29 PM
1

Most women date within their own race but when they date internationally most go for white men. While most most men go for Asian women.
/r/AllPillDebate19/09/23 05:27 PM
1

It’s not about begin robots but there’s something called “universal beauty standards” for a reason.
/r/AllPillDebate19/09/23 05:25 PM
1

A rich men ? Maybe but attractive men aren’t that rare tbh. Men also seek attractive women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/23 09:28 PM
1

Nice guy’s r mostly just desperate one’s but in disguise. Desperate men wouldn’t be desperate if they were good-looking so u r wrong.
/r/AllPillDebate04/09/23 06:19 AM
1

It is true that personality carries the relationship but we have to admit look’s gets u to the door and the topic is physically attractiveness not personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 07:13 PM
1

Hopefully this will help. ofc different women have different types but “majority” prefer men w not too much muscle nor skinny just fit. Clear healthy skin, tall. like 6ft and above. light/tan skin, brunette hair is usually the ideal but whatever dark color suits ur face, hazel/green eyes, and V body shape.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 07:12 PM
1

Probably afraid of begin called “shallow” I don’t under shaming ppl for their preferences tbh.
