Answering as a man who's seen these two scenerious most repetitively: A woman with a high body count can absolutely be the result of past trauma, abuse, and serious mental health issues. They can be a risk to men they sleep with. It doesn't mean their behaviors are based on being evil or intentionally taking advantage of anyone, often they're desperately filling a gaping emotional wound with a couple hours of being desired.
