The makeup equivalent for men is makeup. Just look at men in movies. It may not seem like it but they're all wearing some amount of makeup, albeit professionally done so you don't notice. A little eyeliner can make anyone's eyes pop without being gender coded.

Totally agree with everything said here. I much prefer being honest about what I'm looking for early on as well. There are plenty of women out there who legitimately do not want a romantic relationship with you either, but it's possible for anyone to "catch feelings" and there's nothing wrong with that. Hell, sometimes it's great! I'll also say that this is a "knowing your audience" thing. The more criteria you narrow your dating pool by, the more strategy is needed for improving your chances of…

Most of the things you mention that "can't be shown on a dating profile" are just plain wrong. There's a lot you can do with your pictures and bio to show what kind of person you are. It's just a matter of whether men put in enough work curating their profile to demonstrate those qualities (spoiler: they usually don't).

Yeah it sounds counterintuitive at first, but I can try to break down my theory as to how this phenomenon occurs. Conventionally hot men who sleep around a lot don't tend to sleep with the same person more than once or twice, and tend not to ask for genuine feedback either because they're overconfident or just "selfish lovers". As a result a lot of women will exaggerate or fake orgasms to save the man's self esteem, which gives unreliable feedback. Not that the sex was totally unpleasurable for …

This doesn't make any sense unless this "top 10% guy" is in a consistent hookup loop with the same exact people, which isn't practical. Casual sex is still a time investment even if you're super hot and in practice people only have a handful of hours of free time per day.

Also wow reading this again you are extra salty about my lifestyle choices. Very obvious envy and insecurity showing through. If I had to give you a number for what I consider "hot" I'd say anywhere 7 and up on the conventional attraction scale is good. I've had people say I'm a 7, but a 9 if I worked on my body a bit more, tho tbh that hasn't been a problem for me. My dating pool is also more limited than yours, since less people are non-monogamous and it's a largely hidden population. Bright s…

I think it's a valid concern. It's a mistake to assume it's going to stop here.
/r/seduction25/06/22 07:00 AM

I'm not sure what makes you think it's gonna stop here. It's all about precedent. Contraceptives are next on the chopping block.

The fact that you think pulling out is a viable birth control strategy is very telling of how little you know on the subject. And honestly most of the women I've seen get mad are hot af, but that probably says more about who I choose to give my time to. Maybe you just spend more time around people you don't find attractive? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

If being above average isn't enough then the insecurity probably originates elsewhere.

That may not be related to size. Could be a lubrication problem. Also I don't follow the reasoning here. You think you're not big enough yet she's having problems with pain? What makes you think getting bigger will help with that?
/r/seduction26/05/22 03:48 AM
2

Ask her??? Everyone is different! Some people are incapable of orgasms from penetrative sex no matter what the size and need clitoral simulation first (vibrators, oral, etc) to get off. Not everyone is like that, but A LOT of women are. Some women are "size queens" but in my experience most women aren't. You don't have to be very long to hit the g spot as long as you get the angle right and for many women that's all that matters when it comes to penetrative sex. I'm male but also experienced and…

Maybe. Can't say I've tried, but also never heard of anyone who has IRL. But I do see a lot of people say it doesn't work for them, so it may depend on the person? When I say trolls, I mean that subs like that are full of people who are easy to manipulate because they're all there feeling desperate like they're missing something. Maybe it's not everyone on there, but I imagine there are some people who are lying for giggles or subtly trying to get people to buy something.
/r/seduction23/05/22 07:09 PM
1

But why? That's a very nice length. There may be some people who are into it, but once you're hung there's a LOT of people who will not enjoy having sex with you because it's too big for them, which is not as good a problem to have as you might think. The only people you'll be impressing are other insecure men which probably isn't your real goal. As long as you're not below a certain threshold (maybe 3" or 4" depending on the person?) it's all relative to the size of the vagina you're dealing wi…

Equally surprised and unsurprised this is a thing. Read a few posts and honestly it's sad because even if it's not full of trolls, a lot of these people have perfectly good sized dicks and no amount of growth will ever be good enough for them.

Everyone faces prejudices, but not all prejudices are equal. I'm sorry but your statement about risk and probability being equal for all is simply not true. You have to be willfully ignorant of statistics and societal dynamics to believe that.
/r/seduction23/03/22 07:23 AM
2

You can't argue that the risk of feeling lonely and the risk of being dead are anywhere in the same ballpark of severity. I'm not sure why this is so hard for you to accept. Equality is not the way of the world. If you think it is, you're living in a bubble. It sucks and it's unfair. Many people are working their asses off every day to change that. Not all things apply to all people. Different people face different kinds of prejudices. The consequences of these prejudices vary as well. That does…

I do not understand what you're trying to say here? No one is accusing you of anything. I'm just pointing out that women have valid reasons for deflecting advances that generally don't apply to men.
/r/seduction23/03/22 07:00 AM

Relatively speaking in the context of dating, yes. It happens, but man the statistics just do not suggest it's that big of a concern for us.

LOL. I love this topic and think of it often. I acknowledge that men and women both have unique dating challenges, but men don't have to worry about getting raped, murdered, or beaten in the ways that women frequently are. Those are objectively WAY more severe than any of the things men have to worry about. Does that make men's unique challenges less numerous or less valid? No, of course not. I think it's unfair that our challenges often get dismissed as insignificant. We've got our own shitty n…

Context matters here. We're talking about how women deflect advances in certain situations because they detect a scenario that could compromise their safety. They will have many situations where there are no risks. It's very logical to minimize certain kinds of safety risks when possible. It's clear you haven't thought much about what those risks are, or don't have a firm grasp on the severity of them. If you are a woman you have a plethora of things to worry about that men have absolutely no ex…

Not a hard task? Those are precious seconds of their lives you are asking for that they will not get back. Everyone's got shit to do and may not want to be distracted. Generally people either like another person's vibe or they don't. It's nothing personal. I just went down the rabbit hole of watching you reply, denying any factors that aren't related to looks. It's just sad. Let me assure you that while looks are an asset, they aren't the be all end all. Attractiveness is a complicated thing that incorporates more than visual appearance. Don't believe the hype.

You are basically saying the quiet part loud here. My whole point is women generally feel unsafe and for very practical reasons. I agree the "claimed" thing is gross, but it works.

No one said anything about sexy eyes. There is a whole range of emotions one can convey with their eyes and I am not suggesting one approach women in any and all settings.

I think there's a lot of nuance to the word "approach" and unfortunately people tend not to elaborate on what they mean by that, especially online. Context matters.

You don't? Generally, if they wanted to be something other than friends you already would be. If they're just shy and don't know how to ask you out, your only remaining option is to be direct and ask them out.

I guess it depends what you're looking for. If being a simp, whatever the hell that means to you, is working for some people then more power to em. Your post comes off as very misogynistic which is probably part of why you're having no luck. You don't need to look great to get together with hot people. Your strategy has to be different and may require you to change in ways you don't want to and if that's the case for you idk what to tell you besides get a therapist and work on yourself a bit. ¯_…

Honestly, my "game" was horrible in college because I had a lot of self esteem issues back then, but in hindsight I remember several situations I could've acted on that I didn't. I didn't really hit my stride till my late 20s. That said, a lot of the people I dated after I graduated were college students and/or workers in the 22+ age range. In general my night game has always been worse than day, but I'm not much of an ONS guy either (at least not intentionally 😅). I'm a lot better at online dat…

I will also say that context and setting matters. There's a lot of ways things can go wrong and no one can really give advice when they don't have a detailed idea of the situations, but like I said in a different comment, it may have nothing to do with the approach.
/r/seduction22/03/22 06:07 AM

You may not be doing anything wrong. People can have all kinds of reasons to reject someone that have nothing to do with you or your approach. There's no magical strategy to get anyone you want. It's also pretty normal to have more rejections than numbers.
/r/seduction22/03/22 05:55 AM

Body language and eye contact (and the look in your eyes) may be a factor here. There are a lot of subtle things that go into the vibe you give off. It may also just be coming across as insincere. You may need to find openers that are more genuine.

Cold approaching can work. I don't personally like doing it but I know it works well for some people. The key is making sure they feel safe and secure and desirable in your presence. If you can't do that your good looks and social skills won't do you any good.
/r/seduction22/03/22 05:38 AM

It's a common lie women will use to reject people softly so the man doesn't keep hitting on her. Saying they already have a man in their life presents an obstacle that's not worth pushing on. It's a defense mechanism to protect themselves from unwanted advances. A lot of men are too pushy so it's a great deterrent when they feel like there's a risk of that happening. To me this indicates they feel unsafe with you. You may want to reflect more on your approach and demeanor.

Hire a sex worker. Nothin wrong with getting a professional involved, especially if you want to experiment. It's transactional, they won't judge you, and you'll probably learn a thing or two if you ask. Do some research on how to find one safely.

Get a therapist. I've had one for ages and they've helped me learn to manage these kinds of emotions. Contrary to popular belief, no amount of exercise or mimickry is going to help you here. Obviously doing new things to improve how you look/behave is great and will help you, but I find figuring out what your most appealing traits are, physical and nonphysical, and learning how to leverage those is more efficient.

My absolute favorite is crown skinless after trying a variety pack of Japanese manufactured condoms. You might also like beyond seven. I just brought a 104 pack of crown for way less than $2 per condom. It's a great deal. Find wholesale sites like condom depot and cross check reviews. Edit: actually it must have been less than $1 per. I think I paid less than $40 in total.

Actually, if I wanna get technical about it, I'd say neither are better or worse, just different.

0.x1% better is pretty negligible imo, especially when it expands the pool of people who are willing to have sex due to being more risk-averse. It can only improve your game. Do your research. Read reviews. I'm not the only one out there who has found the good stuff. Avoid the popular American brands like Trojan. They're all marketing BS.

I'm a man. It is not a night and day difference. Get better quality condoms. My main partner is a woman and doesn't notice a huge difference either. The only exception is if the woman has a kink for "creampies" or cum play (which my partner also likes sometimes) and that's totally fine but it's something that needs to be verbally established ahead of time.

As someone who has HSV-1 both orally and genitally, I can say it's very common and while the symptoms are very manageable the stigma is much harder to deal with. It is bullshit but it's our responsibility to educate people of the risks, however low they may be in certain cases, and why it shouldn't be stigmatized. I have both protected and unprotected sex, and in both cases my sexual partners need to know the risks ahead of time. Condoms don't make much difference in pleasure if you get ones tha…

Have you??? We don't know the actual odds. But are they worth it? That's up to each individual to decide whether they want to take a low but not zero risk. It's not a super well-researched disease.

Herpes can pass via asymptomatic shedding. It's less contagious when you're not showing symptoms but can still transfer undetected. It can even pass around condoms because of this! Y'all are dreadfully uninformed.

Ask. Everyone likes different stuff. For instance, I've found a lot of women go crazy when you, ever so softly, exhale near their ear just enough that the heat of your breath is touching the inside of it, but for some it does nothing or can even be annoying.

Like I said in my longer comment, I think a lot of that behavior is tailored toward preying on women who have low self-esteem. It's delusional and creepy.

Well, a huge part of it is safety concerns. Men don't really have to worry about being raped or killed so like, it's different for women. And yeah they can be more picky in a way, but honestly a lot of their choices who aren't desperate just plain suck. See my more lengthy comment on why.

This is going to be a bit wordy but I think it's important to read. Frankly, men are often less mature/intelligent/interesting than they like to think. A ton of the advice and thought frameworks on this forum are just plain wrong as far as what women actually value. I think a lot of seduction/PUA advice is tailored toward finding women with low self-esteem and/or lacking in life experience. I prefer confident fiery women - the sex is way better, but the bar is higher. This is why older men (late…

Degradation is a kink for some people but if you're not into it you should stand up for yourself and say so. As far as pleasing women goes, lots of foreplay, and learn how to perform oral sex well. Enhances their orgasms.

Superior is a pretty bold claim, but I'm glad you found something that works well for you and brings you to what you're looking for. I went through the sadboi phase with rejection and struggled with chronic depression for many years, but at this point rejection isn't such a dirty word to me. I guess I never really associated it with competition, even if competition is an adjacent concept. It's just a thing that happens and you move along. I think the "made a mistake" is another weird framing. People have all sorts of reasons to say no that may not make sense to everyone, and that's ok. Like, usually it's nothing personal and for them they're missing out on nothing as far as what matters to them. Doesn't devalue you nor does it make their decision a bad one. Sometimes I'm sexually a great fit for one person and not for another, and the reverse is also true plenty of times. It ain't a contest, yaknow?
/r/seduction13/03/22 05:38 AM

I get it. Though I really don't like the word "denied" in these contexts. It sorta implies one is entitled to something or whatever and that feels yucky to me. The confident attitude and high self respect is totally important, but it's ok to not be that type of confident.

I'm pretty ¯_(ツ)_/¯ about it. That kinda stuff doesn't really affect my self-esteem like it used to. Take the wins where you can get em, roll with the punches, and don't sweat the small stuff. As long as you're having fun who cares?
/r/seduction13/03/22 12:41 AM

You're right. I must've overlooked that. But I'd still say that's a perfectly fine conscious choice if they are still happy with it. Some people do change their mind (yes this has happened to me) but I'd never advocate for holding your breath waiting for that to happen.

Given less shits about what people thought about me and assume everyone is attracted to me unless otherwise stated. Not like I was a 10 or anything but a little confidence would've gone a long way. Knowing when to take a hint is important tho.

Honestly I think the bio is where it's at. Women are a lot more tolerant of not-super-hot men than the reverse. But it really depends what you're looking for. My partner is a self identified slut and we both show each other what we're up to on dating apps for fun. She considers the ridiculously hot looking guys "nice looking dildos" because she's found good looking guys are generally less good at sex and less interesting people overall. I think this is the one. Also, I think it's okay to use the word "love" very loosely as long as you explain what you mean by it since everyone has a different idea of what that means. I love some people as I love a close friend. Loving freely feels awesome when you are allowed to do so. I'm polyamorous now which is honestly a lot of work (mostly personal growth stuff like becoming more emotionally intelligent and better at open communication which doesn't seem to be the norm on this sub) and def…

There's nothing particularly wrong with that unless you don't want a friendship with them, in which case, just don't be friends. I'm still friends with all my past FWBs by choice. It doesn't mean you're not "good enough" - it simply represents a mismatch in needs/desires.

You can absolutely bounce back from this. What you just described is like 99% my life. I still struggle with some of these problems but the worst of it is behind me. You can probably get there faster than I did since you've identified your problem a lot sooner. I think one of the biggest changes to my thinking around this was to start focusing more on what *I* wanted to do when, like deep down, rather than worry so much about what the other person wants me to do when. Of course, consent is key here, but as far as choosing when to escalate things I've started marching more to my own tune. Yeah I still get anxious about it but it has gotten easier each time. People are fickle. Don't take it too personally.
