I’m saying it is. If two people both want to split the bill, that is a great match. Can you explain how it’s not a great match? Is your argument that two people that disagree with you and don’t even know you should follow your preferences?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 04:35 PM

But it sounds like a great match? OP and this girl who want to split the bill. Why are you saying it’s not a good match?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 02:19 PM

You’re replying to a woman to be clear. lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 12:39 PM

To be clear we know they are lying. The CDC has studied this. Mathematically speaking straight men and women go on the same number of dates. This doesn’t appear in self reported data.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 05:47 PM

You entirely ignored my point. The CDC agrees men overstate and women understate lifetime sexual partners. Google that sentence and you will see what I’m talking about. I’m not assuming they are lying. I know for a fact they are lying because 1=1 (or to be more precise 1+1=2. 2/2 = 1). Last time I checked anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 05:41 PM

That is not what’s happening though. The average man is not going on any dates really. Here’s the real problem with what we’re talking about: The study was based on a sample of 2,000 single U.S. adults, aged 18 to 91, who participated in an online survey from April 29 to May 8, 2025. Obviously men are conditioned to exaggerate their number of partners and women are conditioned to do the opposite. Also obviously on average they have the same number of sexual partners but this does not show up in …
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 05:09 PM

By definition men and women go on an equal number of dates. That doesn’t mean they find dates equally easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 04:55 PM

The average man goes on 48% more dates than the average woman Unless you’re counting gay guys then men and women go on an equal number of dates. What’s more likely is that men consider something a date and women consider it hanging out with someone in the friend zone. Also as we know men over reported partners and women under report them. This is well studied. This “statistic” is from an anonymous online poll lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 04:42 PM

If you’re in a big city they’re out there but you may need to bump down your height requirements to the median height and income requirements to the median salary. And don’t forget half of people are below that. If you’re not in a big city dating will be tough for everyone true.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 04:40 PM

The weird thing is that’s not enough if you are a high earner. Like if one partner earns $500k and the other earns $2 million, obviously no one needs alimony. But it is pretty likely to be awarded where I am.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/25 04:12 PM

I agree with you 100%. If she quits her jobs to raise our kids it’s a different story and she should get compensation.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/25 03:18 PM

I live in a very expensive area and all the guys I know here are high earning. It’s definitely a legitimate concern for people here.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/25 03:09 PM

Speaking as high earning guy it’s definitely a reason. My GF has a great career with a high salary. Why should I be punished because mine pays a lot more? I contribute more to the household economically but why should that continue if we separate? It’s misogynistic to suggest she can’t continue doing what she was doing before she met me. If the roles were reversed I would not want part of her salary in a divorce. She earns her salary and she should be able to keep it.

And to be clear married women live longer on average. Which is not really surprising. Married men do too. Also not surprising.

You literally began your post saying you don’t need men.

The value they brought benefits anyone using those streets. Those streets aren't just for me. This is the same logic as “everyone benefits from drinking water. Therefore I don’t need water”. There might be an argument men are not needed but this ain’t it.

I’m game. Which one would you like to use? Here’s another word from the same dictionary. (I assume people knew what the word discriminate means since I learned around age twelve but I was clearly should not have assumed! 😅) discriminate verb dis·crim·i·nate di-ˈskri-mə-ˌnāt discriminated; discriminating Synonyms of discriminate transitive verb 1 a : to mark or perceive the distinguishing or peculiar features of Depth perception may be defined as the ability to appreciate or discriminate the t…

Nothing condescending in my first post. If I have a tone it’s because multiple people responded incorrectly to me saying I was entitled to women’s bodies or such bullshit. Sorry if you were not one of those people. Any of the could grab a dictionary that which would presumably be the thing to do when people don’t understand a definition. my definition of discrimination is not To be clear. Unless you are having a silent internal monologue, we have to use the normal definitions of words or we are …

That’s my point. You don’t understand what I’m saying and need a dictionary. For example How about 35 homeless man? Absolutely not. I discriminate against every single man when it comes to dating because I’m straight. To put it another way I have a 100% preference to not date men. To put it another way I don’t date men. These sentences all have the same exact meaning. You are confused about what the word discrimination means. It means having a preference or bias against categories like men, Trum…

People’s bodies are not equal opportunity environments that should be available for equitable distribution How does this relate to my comment? I’m explaining what the word “discrimination” means. Do you have a dictionary near you?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 06:31 PM

Dating preference is absolutely discrimination. You are confused about what words mean. Certain kinds of discrimination like discriminating against Trump voters is social acceptable. It’s still discrimination. This is not a gray area. Should I send you the definition of discrimination?

Women don’t discriminate based on height, it’s their dating preference To be clear discrimination and having a preference like this are the same thing. If an employer has a preference for white male employees that is the same as saying they discriminate. Discrimination has a negative connotation but we should be really clear that having a racial (or height or whatever) preference is the same as discriminating. You might say that some discrimination is ok. Like as a dating preference you can disc…

To see if he is a generous person duh So if you don't pay then you are not a generous person? Why does this logic only go one way? If I’m expected to take career hits and sacrifice my health to be a mother and a wife, the least he can do is pay for a dinner I'm not compensating you for being a potential mother on our first date lmao. If we get there (we won't) we would address it then. Not on the first date

It’s also really naive. Yon would have to choose between placing them in foster care or quitting the field, lol what? No one with kids in residency is putting them in foster care. Literally zero people. And op seems to think people marry for love or to spend time with someone. This is a really naive modern western Disney worldview. Marrying for love was not a thing until very recently. Obviously it’s still not a thing in much of the world.

Honey. Honey. You and your husband are betas by your definition. If you believe in that why are you with your beta hubby? I earn more am more masculine etc. $3k rent? Lmao honey I’m not poor. My daughter’s rent is more than that. 😂😂 I feel bad for you people in flyover country I own a few houses but none in flyover country. Lmao at bragging at owning one house like (checks notes) the vast majority of people.

Your husband is a beta or lower and that’s fine. Embrace it!

Oh sweetie. You must live in the middle of nowhere. That’s the average salary in my neighborhood in NYC. (I make multiples of this personally). I see where his insecurity comes from now (thinking salary is important and not having an especially big one). If you think having a bigger income makes you an alpha then it can ditch your hubby. You are betas or lower no offense. Never bothered to learn what’s lower than beta but I will need up to describe you. Where are you located?

True but there are some subsidies. Some religions tell people marriage is between one man and one woman. Huge subsidy to less attractive guys. In nature you end up in a harem situation much more.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/25 12:52 PM

You and he come off as really insecure, which makes sense. If you have a gun, obviously don’t tell anyone. Your weapons are far more likely to be used against you than to help you. Especially if you’re both as incompetent and insecure as you sound.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/25 12:25 PM

Doubt it. How much does he make? If he’s still tied to an income he’s not especially rich.

I might have misread your comment and we agree. Rich people of course have harems.

It's not like women only care about income. By your own count 80% of women will not find a man making six figures. So ok it's reasonable for 20% of women. Now filter by height, age, charm, fitness and other things most women care about and you are getting into a pretty small percentage.

I think what you are looking for may be out there but it's probably a small group and you should try to meet as many people as you can to try to find it. Or at least do that for a while then see if your results suggest you should change your approach and think about what you can realistically do for that. I applaud your positive attitude! :)

Women living with their parents are probably extremely focused on finding a man with money so they can leave their parents. Why do you think they wouldn't be?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 07:08 PM

You should put yourself out there and find her. I personally found it helpful to observe what my dating experience told me about what people were (funny, charming, decisive) and weren't (serious, anxious, unsure to name a few random examples) looking for.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 07:06 PM

Isn't that your answer then? There is (according to you, i think) no one who wants to date someone of your attributes with no ambition who lives at home with no desire to change that. (This is not too surprising because you are not offering women much they can't get from friends, etc. Friends are more reliable and less messy than romantic partners on average) If you're really attractive, you should have success that way. If you're not (like most of us) you need to impress them another way. Women…

His point is not about DJs. Every community (let’s take Tucson, AZ which I’ve never been to but I assume it exists) and every sub community (an infinite list of groups of artists, tech bros, dive bar regulars, pickleball club, hiking, parents of kids who play sports, community boards, etc) will have some kinds of leaders, local heroes, people who set the agenda and those who follow. In one music scene it might be DJs. In an artist scene it might be the painter who sold a few big pieces (or the g…

What do you mean supposed to? If a husband beats his wife then the wife should leave. She is supposed to leave. Marriage is 100% made up idea (that is fairy tale invented from someone’s imagination like a Disney money). I personally would not take abuse over a made up idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 02:07 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
