The longer she is imprisoned the more her likely her and the guys unborn child suffers. The guy obviously doesn’t care if you read the article so it’s up to her. If she goes to prison for years then the child goes into foster care and another comment said that would be best but if you have ever been around foster kids you would disagree. Except she isn’t a pedophile by definition. He isnt a child, he is a teenager so the term pedophile doesn’t fit with your framing of her child would be in danger because she is a pedophile. Possibly or fines. If she faces long jail time then the guy here will be responsible for child care and if he is a child like you say then he isn’t responsible enough or shouldn’t have to. Or the unborn child who is actually innocent could go to foster care. Is that what you would prefer?

He was fine with the relationship until he faced consequences. His actions aren’t innocent. I’m comparing how teenagers are held to adult standards sometimes but not others. It can’t be both ways. This guy did the equivalent of crying rape when he didn’t like the situation anymore. I think she should lose her ability to ever be a teacher again and the guy should be held to all parental responsibilities of this child.

I’m not reading all of that. It’s her fault and his fault. He should also be held accountable if she is. If he were 13 and in a gang and robbed someone he would be tried as an adult. You are just a hypocrite. Edit: I did read it and I would say it if it were a girl especially after reading the article. We have to stop simultaneously treating teenagers and kids and adults in the legal system.

Then we shouldn’t try 16 year olds for any major crimes either. It’s hypocritical to hold them responsible for some things but not others. They are either children or not, adults or not. Had he murdered this teacher after sex he would be in prison, as an adult.

Basically he had sex with her for 18 months and he was fine until she got pregnant and then he called her a pedophile. She was totally in the wrong here but the 16 year old Is a piece of shit too. Have you never heard men speak about compulsively watching porn and needing more and more extreme variety to get aroused and eventually not being able to get aroused by regular sex with their SO?
