I made it. Do whatever you want there. I'm only going to care if people are shitty to each other, otherwise I really don't give a fuck, dude.

Now if you could only get people to listen to sane advice like this.

Tried that for years, still deleted my FB. As someone who owns a company dealing in user information/data I know what FB does with people's data and there's no way I'm volunteering more information to those people than they already have.

Lol at the way you put that. Agreed.

I understand that it's is more popular in the US as well. However, it does happen around the world, and realistically I think it's a pretty terrible practice to cut off part of anyone's genitals (boy OR girl!) no matter where they are in the world or how prevalent it is. It should be ended, especially since the only semi-valid argument for it (cleanliness) has been now shown to be complete bunk.

I never really thought of a circumcisised penis as mutilated Which just goes to show how normalized this practice of penis mutilation is. If cutting off one of the most sensitive parts of the body without the owner's consent is not mutilation, I'm not sure what is.

No one said every man. Not even the original tweet.

circumcision happens as a baby After which men have to keep that penis for the rest of their lives. You think looking down at a multilated penis every single day wouldn't be psychologically damaging? Do you really think permanently losing large amounts of sensitivity from your genitals wouldn't be psychologically damaging?

The whole goal of what this person is doing is to prevent the crud buildup that most modern operating systems eventually experience after a bunch of use and doing things online. It's a lot like a ship sailing through the seas and gathering barnacles and other detrius, with the added potential danger of viruses, malware and online tracking, which is sorta like piracy if we stretch the analogy to the breaking point. As they say, there's more than one way to skin a cat, and this person has decided …

Could you explain a little of what you mean by how the programs are toxic? I'm working on setting up a foundation to help various charities with funding, and this is something I worry about because we want to focus on mainly charities that are out there to actually help and not take big salaries for the directors. edit: a word

What kind of perversion goes on in your head that you equate body language only with sex? I can only imagine some projection going on here.

He said "the law", not what an independent civilian agency thinks. Also, we're talking about laws in the US, so the link to the site about the UK doesn't help clarify the situation.

That will only happen when they are raised like normal human beings. While this is easy to say, it turns out to be more difficult than first blush. As someone with a daughter, I'm doing everything I can to teach her how to act like a proper rational adult, which means not coddling her when she does the fake crys, the whining, the imaginary dumbness, the pretending to be helpless and useless. She's a smart girl and I'm constantly telling her that she's better than pretending that she needs rescui…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
