29	What are warning signs that the man may become physically abusive? Oh and. Abuse is cyclical. They will not consistently trigger warning signs in you. They will swing between being 'amazing' to increasing levels of 'worrying'. Id almost say if you meet a man and think 'he's perfect' its your first sign. Obviously some people are amazing people. 34	What are warning signs that the man may become physically abusive? I ended up with an abusive con man. His outer skin to the world was - a well meaning, socially conscious, health and wellbeing coach. He never laid hands on me but he was on the path, holding a coffee table over me as I lay on the sofa, kicking the freezer in, punching doors. Abusers do not always look the way you think they will. Id be willing to bet my arse most of them look like the most upright person in any group.
