It is sort of backwards, isn't it. I've talked to lotsa different friends that kill it with women, and I never get any practical advice. I feel ya bro. I've hit a plateau in my learning as well. Key to these things is to just push past it. I believe Zanzibar (Kuhio st) is 18+, though to be honest I havent spent a lot of time there. One caveat that I've picked up is the tendency to treat all that awesome stuff you do in a day as routine (e.g. Not worth discussing). Example: My main job is flight instruction. Its entirely routine for me at this point, though its almost universally lauded as cool and interesting. I'm also gettin my SCUBA certification. By all rights, interesting life, yea? I feel your pain on this one. For me, my finances badly affect my self-confidence. Many of my friends are fairly well off, which makes it all the worse. I'm still getting past my AA, so bear that in mind here. I've found that observing your surroundings and using what you see really helps to open a conversation. Examples: I was Christmas shopping for my dad today who's notoriously hard to shop for.
