Total red flag. Everyone’s algorithms get fed with similar content and that easily creates confirmation bias. Find a woman who’s states viewpoints can observably be tracked back to social media, yeah, she’s getting fed the same shit over and over and that, my friend, creates a limited viewpoint kinda woman, which equates to a giant pain in the rear for you because they’re the same tired ol arguments, lack of understanding & compassion, and, maybe even a bore of a partner. I’ve learned my lesson.

Yeah man. Whenever you want. Keep it light and casual at first. Coffee dates maybe. Try keeping the convo on her.

My man. I’m sorry. Our ladies can rip our hearts out ruthlessly and not give a single thought to the devastation they’re causing. Sounds like that’s what’s happening here and I’m sorry. Humans do human things which means some good hearted folks are gonna get hurt. Try your absolute best to keep your cool and start plotting the path out. If you’re in a man-friendly state, take advantage as much as you can, otherwise, use her ambition to be with him against her to craft terms favorable to you and …

Think about the future you. Looking back, how will you feel about this decision? Another major consideration… do you have another woman in your life? How will this affect her and your relationship with her?

Yes. It was the primary tool and conduit that ended a 20+ year marriage. It wasn’t me with the problem and incessant need for external validation. Not my doing, no.

We’re all accountable for our choices. She chose to push the boundaries and put herself in this position, then, she continued choosing to make it worse. We all do this. What’s needed is a dose of reality to inspire growth and wisdom. This may be that for her.

It’s not your fault. Don’t best yourself up about this.

My mans. Message me. I was right there where you were just weeks ago and after some hard core focus 🧘 in the right areas, I’m right as rain now, and, my enthusiasm for future me is through the roof. I’m having a wildly fun time, just on the other side of formally divorced. I’ll help you. Message me.

You’ll be fine after a bit of time passes. Getting closure is a luxury that not everyone will receive. Head up. Focus forward. Keep grinding.

Sorry you’re dealing with this. I filed in march. Final in July and I’m not looking back. It took a few weeks to work the bugs out but intense focus on mind, body, and spiritual enhancements has me feeling peachy. Just had to put a new woman in the friend zone because im not interested in a relationship with her. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Focus intensely on mind, body, and spiritual development.

Horrah! I can feel your excitement and enthusiasm! Wishing you absolutely nothing but the best of outcomes and future joy! 46 years sounds like a long haul but perhaps the freedom and joy you have in your near future make it all worth it. Hats off to you for hanging in there so long!

Let her go, bro. This shit will eat you up. Don't let it! You must actively train your mind to LET HER GO and surely your emotions will begin to follow. I've been through this very thing. Astonishment, anger, resentment, and more. What you need to do is find peace and to do that, you'll have to let her go. Focus forward on your path, your desires, and your dreams. Let lie what you had with her. Everything changes. Let her go and focus on your growth.

That's the thing, man. It's not too late to turn that ship around. It may take space, time, or collective intentional focus in counseling, but it's not too late to turn things around.

If you feel an ounce of love left and think she may, too, explore that in therapy. We all say things we don't mean when our emotions are excited so try allowing space for grace when those emotionally rooted words hit your ears. Consider saving it if there's something there.

No judgment, of course. Just curious. Were you holding onto hope of reconciliation? Even after divorce?

Can you advise your ex against the intro? Maybe a lil bit of logic or appeal to her instincts to protect your daughter?

☝️ you’ve got a point. Always good to evaluate what you’ve got, vs what you need / want, and whether a bit of fertilizer would spruce things up. If she’s honorable, loyal, and honest, that’s a great foundation for maintaining a great looking lawn. You’ve got to have those same qualities, too, though. Two way street.

Men do. And at more rates. This is a major point in the book No More Mr. Nice Guy. Good read. Highly recommended.
