Either way, don't let them bully you to something you don't want. I've had to deal with aggressive older women at my retail jobs and let me tell you they're a vengeful bunch when they dont get their way

I follow this sub not to get any real advice, but just as a meme. So far, its been paying dividends

Of course, Im not saying that at some point I haven't received kindness, but people tend to get into this hole when they don't receive it. Also, you can just observe other people receiving it, and simply long for the same thing

That's what I mean. Its not that I've never felt kindness EVER in my life, but you can definitely tell when you've gone very long without it.

That's the problem though. If I don't know what kindness feels like to receive, how would I know to give it?

I was skinny and morbidly obese at different points in my life. The same girls that wouldn't stop talking to me when I was skinny wouldn't even look my way when I was fat. No one is going to convince me looks aren't always first when it comes to attraction.

Looks should be at the top here. Looks matter here the most

Its easy to go down that rabbit hole, because you're not just attracted to smut, you also get attracted to anything extreme or highly stimulating like tiktok, gore, drugs, infinite things

Yes, take it from me. You fry your damn brain so much that having a bombshell 10/10 girl will feel like the most boring thing ever. The problem is not just desensitization to intimacy, but also everything else. Nothing in life feels significant, or exciting or mildly worth doing. You're stuck in this damn cycle of looking for ever more intense cheap thrills to the point you don't want to do anything with your life. I have been an user since 12 years old. Its done significant damage to me. At 30,…

Exactly, but a lot of times people are "nice" to avoid any friction. It taught me its better to voice something and not be received well by some people that simply telling them what they want to hear. People even resent the latter.

I realized this from a girl I deemed ugly. She kept talking to me but I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get closer to her. My mind was giving me all sorts of red flags when it figured out she just told people what they wanted to hear. She never gave a real opinion. She never stood her ground on anything. At that point, I realized exactly why being nice can make you seem extremely unattractive

Most women are average at best, as are men. It does sound a bit like you're putting them on a pedestal. What worked for me is looking at their attitude. A 10 body with a complete bitch attitude makes me look for other more sane women

There was a guy on here that said he wasn't satisfied with his wife. I said She's not the vibe anymore, she's not meeting your needs. I got downvoted to hell, but like, that's literally all they would say if the genders were flipped.

I've learned over the years that I didn't have a fear of women, but that genuinely most of them have nothing to offer me entertainment wise. My lady friends liked going out, trying different places to eat, going to concerts. I liked staying at home. A lot of times we would play card games or talk because there wasn't anything we both liked to watch. Hell, I've been most successful with female friends when I would just drink with them.

You're not competing with other men, you're competing with her phone, her friends, her dog, etc Girls today are looking for entertainment. How you make them feel goes further than opening the fucking door. Even if that entertainment is in ghosting and making her feel like crap, her feelings are being lit up. You on the other hand, entertain as much as a concrete wall... apparently.

It makes sense. They tell men that women like monogamy so they're less successful. They tell women that men like women that sleep around, or give some shoddy excuse that they're not a real man if they don't want you to. Its like all advice is given to fuck people over.

I've been skinny and bmi over 45, Its night and day. People are shallow, get over it. The first interaction between you and another person is always physical unless you meet them online. Being at the very least in shape will help a lot more than personality or grooming ever could, although there is a baseline. Even my therapist had a hard time debating this against me. I've lived both lives and I can tell you, you can change yourself but not people

That's absolute bullshit. Might as well put me behind bars for even thinking of talking to a girl

The answer is in your own question "Logical conversations" Yes you might have less logical conversations with women, but that's not the point. Life is much more than debating numbers and concepts. Its about letting yourself feel and enjoying the moment. This requires emotions, which I feel you may have neglected so far. Academia is important as so far it doesn't make you neglect your own feelings Don't knock it till you try it

So let me get this straight, you're saying he has to put in the work to get there, and I agree with that. But then you also say dating is supposed to be fun and exciting, which sounds like the opposite of 'putting in work.' On one hand, you're saying it should feel natural and effortless, but on the other, you're saying he needs to grind and push through. Those two ideas contradict each other

I was agreeing with you until the last two sentences. It's no mystery people nowadays are on the edge and cautious. It sounds like OP is being patient yet it's not leading anywhere. To me it really sounds like the last two sentences contradict the rest of your comment.
