He used the amount of force necessary to subdue a resistant 70 year old woman. Grown men are a little better at resisting. Not saying excessive force doesn't happen because it does all the time...just pointing out that this is still ppd...she got arrested and the officer used appropriate force in doing so.

I've never actually seen pepper spray in use but I have worked with oleoresin capsicum (OC). OC is very reddish orangeish...and is the main component of pepper spray I think. Edit: spelling
