I smacked a dude in gym class once. The whole gym went silent for a few seconds before everyone started laughing under their breath. I guess there's something about smacking someone that sucks the dignity right out of someone, especially getting smacked by another dude. He never fucked with me again.

I think the bigger problem is that people in general invest so much of who they are into their beliefs. And it's understandable because our beliefs and actions define who we are. The media, as a whole realize this and have perfected the use buzzwords, statistic, and controversy (whether contrived or genuine) to keep viewers and make money. Because first and foremost, the media is a business.

The "lol fox news" meme is pretty played out by now. What makes fox news any worse or better than the other tabloid-esque mind mush media giants out there? Sure fox news leans right, report but they're not as bad as people claim. I think a lot of why the population is so divided is because we get most of our news from sound bites and headlines, which fox news, MSNBC, CNN, Bloomberg, and a whole host of click bait sites are guilty of exploiting.

As someone who listens to Hannity, I can't stand him. He's literally one big walking logical fallacy and a right wing shill. He sees the world as right vs left. Rush, on the other hand, does make some compelling arguments and he's entertaining, but I've heard him sellout as well. He does a good job at calling out some of the left's hypocrisy but somehow never notices the hypocrisy on the right.

When the man was being bullied, did you see the fella in the red jacket join in? Or how many people had smiles on their faces as they watched? People weren't helping out of lack of concern for the guy's safety. It was actually entertaining to them. Something to gawk at. They just weren't passively non-concerned, man. Now picture this happening in a non controlled environment.

Hmm. Yeah I think this is pretty obviously for girls to give to guys. I heard it quite often when stationed in AZ and never once heard a girl on the line. It seems like really cheap entertainment to me.
