What would you tell black women who are experiencing racial bias when it comes to dating? Her advice is too focused around men rather than loving oneself. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 01/10/20 10:27 PM
What would you tell black women who are experiencing racial bias when it comes to dating?Tbh I’ve seen it suggested but I don’t like femininity channels. They usually forget the circumstances most black women live in. I prefer self care and channels by psychologists. The only way to true self love is to partly use therapy. Makeup and a new dress won’t do it. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 01/10/20 07:18 AM
What would you tell black women who are experiencing racial bias when it comes to dating?I think article gives good advice for this exact situation | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/09/20 11:31 PM
What would you tell black women who are experiencing racial bias when it comes to dating? In my experience when I talk about other black women they usually start using words like “she looks like a man” or “she’s so ghetto” then I know. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/09/20 03:16 PM
What would you tell black women who are experiencing racial bias when it comes to dating?Exactly! I was watching love island and the black girl on there is being treated nicely by someone who is potentially HVM. Throughout social media I’ve noticed a lot of non black women, men and even black men. Who are so brainwashed by this narrative that when she’s being treated the best out of all the women in the villa. They feel the guy is faking because they’re so used to consuming the narrative that she’s undesirable. To me this is why we need a new narrative, so many people have cried bec… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/09/20 03:11 PM
What would you tell black women who are experiencing racial bias when it comes to dating?I agree, I just wish we’d get to see more positivity related to ourselves. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/09/20 01:21 PM
What would you tell black women who are experiencing racial bias when it comes to dating?I get that but but we never move passed critical. Since that 2008 study with ok Cupid it’s been just venting. No one actually tries to help black women but they give us a platform to describe the racism. We need more solutions, that would be the real advice. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/09/20 01:16 PM
What would you tell black women who are experiencing racial bias when it comes to dating? But tbh these articles never bring solutions. As black person growing up by the time you get to 20 you already know this. I think the platforms that help women speak about truths need to put effort into alternatives also. Otherwise it’s just reinforcing white supremacy and not helping us. The message isn’t for black women but everyone else. We should focus on lifting black girls up. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/09/20 01:10 PM
What would you tell black women who are experiencing racial bias when it comes to dating?Honestly I feel racist media spends time publishing these findings to culturally neg us to have low standards. You wouldn’t want to go out with someone that’s colourist anyways so, just think of it as the first step of filtering is already started for you. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/09/20 12:57 PM
The bar is lower than low for men.Luckily I’ve never been on a park date but I did make the mistake of trying to date people at my university. Now though I’m not going to date anyone in that stage of life because I feel they’re looking for a loving hot water bottle. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/07/20 07:58 AM
The bar is lower than low for men.But where are the high caliber ones? The rich ones at my uni don’t shower and wear trainers with unironed suits | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/07/20 07:43 AM
The bar is lower than low for men.🤣🤣🤣 Tap water dates. Yeah I find dates foreigners there’s less pressure for that. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/07/20 07:39 AM
The bar is lower than low for men. It’s hilarious that laziness is classified as dates. Last month a guy got upset with me and told me I was acting like the queen of England because I didn’t want to go on a coffee/tea date. I told him I’d rather video chat and that I’m used to other activities as dates. He claims I’m asking for too much and not being flexible. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/07/20 07:25 AM
The bar is lower than low for men.Oh okay yeah I just think the fashion trends here are just different. What I don’t like here is that women don’t have as much rights that they think they do. In conjunction with this many are being roped into this 50/50 forever girlfriend propaganda because men tell them it’s feminism. In their naive minds they believe them, because they want men’s attention. My cousin told me barely anyone gets married. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/07/20 07:09 AM
The bar is lower than low for men.I don’t live in Amsterdam but I feel the dressing is more practical because the people are more physically active. Also a lot of the Dutch ppl I meet see things like high heels and wigs as extreme. If the men didn’t like it they shouldn’t set the tone culturally for women that way. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/07/20 07:00 AM
The bar is lower than low for men.I’m not American but compared to London I’ve noticed culturally there isn’t a heavy makeup culture here. But even despite that I don’t think that’s an excuse for men to get women to chase them. Due to the physical cycling culture I’ve had to tone myself down as I cannot exercise daily and do high glam. But even then still I avoid dutch men because I don’t want to deal with the dating culture | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/07/20 04:45 AM
The bar is lower than low for men.I agree I find that the whole concept of doing things equally and forever girlfriends is rampant among people I know | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/07/20 02:39 PM
Not like other black girlsBlock block block, block on de Instagram, block on de Facebook, on de Snapchat | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 21/07/20 09:07 PM
We love a man that calls out this bullshit 👏👏👏Why do they even call it cuffed? It sounds so depressing. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 05/07/20 05:02 PM
Saw this on TumblrIn my experience most mean guys I’ve been bullied by are usually ugly. The good looking ones tend to ghost but not insult me. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 05/07/20 04:41 PM
How to know when it’s a fetish or complimentI’m a 23 year old black girl and I keep encountering men on dating apps that keep linking my lip size to me being black. I know big lips are trendy now. But when they talk about it, it makes feel like I’m being over sexualised. He also talks about “queens” but only describes someone that would look after themselves and do things for him. Which isn’t the role of an actual queen. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 04/06/20 04:26 PM
