Had the same problem with my ex but different reasons as she was getting it on the side. I hit the gym got in great shape and by the time divorce was official I was on the dating apps. Had a post divorce hoe phase and experienced great sex I didn’t know was possible. I don’t blame you for avoiding dating and women, I don’t think I’ll ever get married again.

I’ll vote for whoever cuts the funding to the department. Let these shelters be funded at the local level along with supplemental funding from donations. The federal government has no business in funding any of this men or women.

When my brother died in 2020 I broke down in front of my now ex wife. She just sat there and did nothing. A year later her father passed away. I did everything I could to support her and that wasn’t enough for her. So glad to be out of that marriage.

My ex wife cheated on me in addition to years of a dead bedroom not due to lack of me trying. The second we divorced I was out enjoying myself. Went through a bit of the post divorce hoe phase, focused on myself, and traveled the world. Best two years of my life.

Doing ok, salary is stable, I’m saving more, but I lost my dream home and the housing market sucks so I’m stuck in an overpriced apartment. She’s off living the dream at her mom’s brand new house rent free, which she will inherit. It is nice not having a daily Amazon delivery eating away at my bank account.

I think I’m a rarity. My ex and I both make good money, so the split was pretty even. We sold our house for a good chunk of change. She moved in with her mom in a brand new house which she will inherit. I’m in an apartment until the housing market cools if ever. I’m actually saving more now because she’s not spending all of our money on Amazon daily deliveries. It helps that I’m 40 and established in my career, had this happened in my 20s or 30s it would have been rough.
