Losing respect for a husband that insisted on working for himself. And never made it Also… zero attraction after 17 years .. he didn’t have great hygiene or dress well anymore.

She might marry again. Then you won’t have to pay anymore 🤷‍♀️ For life seems a bit silly.

I don’t have a problem apologising He could never say sorry. Never admit his short comings.

Well I guess he may have loathed me for years. He should’ve just come out with it. Also. He is British and was sent to boarding school at 6. A therapist said to me. Lots of these men. Sent away young are emotionally still stuck, when they were abandoned

By feed the squirrel 🐿️. I just meant the one responsible for the pet also. Ya know ? 😜. It’s funny how many men seem to get so upset about the idea of a dinner party… we used to love dinner parties, when the kids were younger. The kids would all hang out, and we would all drink wine and laugh a lot, dance in the kitchen.

I would try mediation with your lawyers first. We got locked into a drawn out battle over 18 months, with a court appearance… absolute waste of money. So much went to lawyers. Could have been settled in initial mediation. If ex hadn’t been hiding money and offering an unfair settlement

It is a Herculean effort. If it wasn’t. You’d not have to pay a nanny, a cook, a cleaner etc to fill the position.

I left. I don’t get any alimony. I don’t live in America. I’d rather be broke and alone after trying to get him to show an emotion for 10 years in a dead end marriage

It would be good if we could prove cheating partners cheated. And it counted for something in divorce. It doesn’t where I live. And my ex cheated on me. I live in London and we used to host dinner parties a lot. Have families and couples over. It’s not dead. Hosting. I guess we all live differently. A man works 8:6 often a woman works 24/7 Esp with young kids. I’d make pancakes or bacon and eggs not hot pockets. But I get it.

I think either party cheat as they’re unhappy. Needs not met. Don’t want to break up the family. But anyone who cheats. Man or woman are always scorned. I’ve found it refreshing to read the men’s divorce thread. As they express their feelings and seem upset at the divorce. And for me. It seemed like my ex was totally unbothered

I think married life and having kids is really hard. And we don’t know what to expect. And then when times get tough. We don’t always work together. I wish I could’ve stayed married forever. But my ex didn’t want to go to counselling . We grew to resent each other … I also think the changing roles ( women working more/roles aren’t so traditional) means the balance is more uneven, in terms of $ and domestic work. A lot of women say. They’re tired never want to marry again. What do men want ?

Respectfully Sir, Why do women cheat though ? Usually because they don’t feel any love or romance from their husband anymore. How long into the relationship did she cheat ? I know what it’s like to be faithful for a long time in a marriage and have a dead bedroom too. How long can one live like that ? Maybe the wife deserves half the house after giving up her entire life for 20 years

Women in the US get an amazing deal with child support and alimony. My ex husband didn’t pay child support for 2 years. He was the main bread winner. Married 20 years. He kept all his superannuation, savings, shares. Inherited money. I struggled to buy all the things my kids needed. 2 at the end of high school. He didn’t care that I couldn’t afford hot school lunches for our son while he had exams in winter. Or that they had to jump the train barrier. He wouldn’t even pay the $20 for travel to s…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
