I'll have to get that book, thanks for the recommendation. We have a few mutual friends left, who started as hers so I've no doubt they do some spying. Her best friend pre-emptively told her to marry me as soon as I asked like "if he asks, SAY YES IMMEDIATELY" and she did (I found out about this after), and her best gay friend told her to get pregnant ASAP (we tried for awhile, it only took once and we lost it so we stopped trying). It sucks that I might have to chop these people out of my life …

I hope that's true. And yeah thanks for saying, I tried to take the high road and be like "well would I have stayed if our positions were reversed?" but I know in my heart I absofuckinglutely would have. Get a dog, make some good buddies, look into counselling or even a professional cuddle buddy (I'm totally serious, I know some people who do this because it gets them through the day). You can deal man.

The only people I can count on are my family. Learned that from an aneurysm risking my life and taking my sight. My wife at the time stuck it out for about 18 months, but going from a low 6 figure lifestyle where she didn't have to do anything to low 4 figures (because of medical costs and hubby nearly dying and being unable to work) meant she had to start working, well that ended that.
