That is tough, to raise children and lose out in your financial future in old age.

I don't know what amount of persons with immigrant backgrounds place their parents in nursing homes. Most of the ones I've visited appear to have their parents live with them or are able to afford a separate assisted living residence for them. I believe not getting placed in a NH or being provided your own residence would be reaping some benefit from having raised children here.

But then again someone that has explored can teach you a thing or two and that can be fun. Mostly it's the religious community that like to wait. The humping after marriage business is thriving well and good. The secular community don't wait before marriage and they appear to be doing fine as well.

The guy seems to be lacking self respect. He is not standing up for himself and she's taking him for a ride over it. Very unfortunate it came to this, but this is the price he is tolerating, hopefully after getting this burnt he heals and learns to value himself enough to stand up for what he believes in. If she was wanting to add another partner and he wasn't, then they could go their separate ways. The end. We can throw feminism and anti masculinity into the mix to explain his behavior but for…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
