2	Rent VS Own Yea man as someone who rents units (to others) for a living I meet people who could technically be “owning/mortgaging” but rent instead for the exact reasons you mentioned. In my area (CT) it’s almost standard that most people after 25 making good money HAVE to get themselves into a “property of their own”, usually condos or starter homes. But taxes and cost of upkeep is relatively expensive compared to other areas who don’t have that culture, so it’s sad to see it play out a horrible slow cycle…	/r/MGTOW	17/12/19 08:36 PM
