| 2 | I'm so confusedEnjoy it for what it most likely is - a distraction. Validation and attention from a pretty woman. Maybe you meet, have sex, and get some of those high school butterflies again… My only advice is be as honest with yourself as you can. If you need the validation, that’s OK, but see it for what it is. But don’t go all in on the first woman you encounter. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/02/26 02:46 PM |
| 2 | Dating - tried, not ready. Tips?I think this girl has been divorced for a long time and is ready to move forward - so part of it is that - which is OK. I think I have some attributes that women are looking for - not in a conceited way - but good job, healthy, great relationship with my kids, active, and I connect well with women in general. My concern is that I’m giving off vibes that I’m more available than I really am and I don’t want to do that. And part of it is realizing how not available I am - which really only came up … | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/01/26 01:35 AM |
| 2 | Dating - tried, not ready. Tips? Thanks for the feedback and I haven’t picked up many personal growth/work books so I’ll definitely give that a try. Any book you would recommend? I’ve read no more Mr. nice guy as that is always recommended on this sub but looking for some others. And appreciate you saying it’s OK do not be ready for something serious. I know that but it’s also good to hear it. Thank you | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/01/26 01:31 AM |
