Men want younger women (and I do say WOMEN, not young girls or children) by and large because they are more physically attractive. Women want men who are older because they are more mature and they have more resources to bring to the table. That about explains it. I’ve found that the women who are opposed to this are the one that are either older than their prime years, or have not had the same luck in attracting an economically established man.

I don’t think that prejudice in the courts is people not taking us seriously. I think that it depends on the context, the person, and what you mean by not being taken seriously. Men aren’t taken seriously when it comes to things that are typically seen as feminine things like with parenting, perhaps with interior decorations and the like, etc.; but in the workplace I think women definitely get the short end of the stick with that one. That’s the way it is because you - and most men - do indeed cherish them. We listen to them whine all the time at home and in the public sphere and say nothing. But when only one side of any story is heard, then you can’t blame people for taking that side by default. The only solution is to treat them like you would treat a man. I personally am circumcised and in America it is common practice. That being said, I was not given choice on the matter and the more I look into it, the more I see that it is not very different than the abhorrent “female genital mutilation” we all hear about.
