Sorry to hear this. It's wrong to be denied seeing your child over the holidays. I hear your pain on costs and expenses of family court! I have a week off over the holidays next week and would gladly care for my kids, but will only see them for a 3 hour dinner. I'm looking at starting a private YouTube channel for my kids for all the holidays and nights I couldn't be with them. It's something they can always go back to and that their mother can't take away from them. I'm hoping it might have mor…

Thanks brother. This time is my proverbial "oxygen mask". The time I have will be spent rebuilding.

Thank you for this feedback. I married young (24) and at the time had absolutely no idea who I was marrying...the BPD really emerged later on. The level of mindfuckery that a BPD woman can play with children is absolutely awful. I see that I have to play the long game to have a real relationship with my children. My eldest son (12) I think is starting to see the big picture and I hope will keep reaching out as he gets older. I do have moments of guilt that my kids have been left to contend with …

Kids were displaying distressd behaviors (I believe due to alienation), which were attributed to me.

One of biggest mistakes I made was thinking I was advocating on my kids behalf, but like you said, come across as "barking"/ angry/ hard to work with. That hurt me in court. I'm glad to still have some time with my kids and will hopefully be able to undo some of the damage the alienation they've experienced. The self reflection part is huge; I was blind to my role in feeding and creating a life with the wrong person. I was being guided by all the blue bill ideals. After my red pill awakening, my…

Stay at home mom is code for divorce-rapist. Big, big mistake.

Depends on your goals here. Plate her for the conquest (Along with the hordes of dudes she sees during through the work week)? I'm wondering if you would you be this spun over a prostitute? 'Cause that's essentially her career choice. Wrap it up and enjoy, but don't fall in love with a ho.

Here's the update then: The event is supposed to go from 4 to 9pm. I arrive at her place at midnight after work. I find her black out drunk, passed out with 2 male staff and 1 female staff (subordinates). They're all very drunk stumbling around the place. She has a daughter (10) who was home and was witnessing all this. I'm not impressed she would place herself in this compromised position. I didnt stick around; I'd seen enough to know she's not quality or LTR worthy. Bottom line: I'd rather be …

This event is not a couples event. She got nervous and invited me after the fact to mitigate, after she agreed this type of thing would not occur again. I work some nights and could not attend in this case.

Taking this direction: no contact and will expect her to display a better attitude. Or plate...we'll see.

I set limits of acceptable behaviour for a gf.

We do not live together. I asked her to relocate this event away from her home and she's completley refusing... I find it weird. I know ultimatums are generally not a good thing, but I don't condone or approve of her behaviour. Am I correct in thinking if she valued the relationship she'd find some other means?

Coming back into the dating scene after 14 years married, it's shocking and a big turnoff to see how many women are social media attention whores. What you're describing sounds like cognitive dissonance. Could it be that this particular woman has expertly learned to shift her face to face vs. online identity... like a star trek cloaking device for next level ASD?

Thanks everyone for your comments; Dad status can be shared later (...if and when necessary). Cheers!

Plate status makes sense here for her, I'm just not sure how to transition her to a plate. Im working hard to reframe my thinking from monogamy... the conditioning is stupidly hard to break. The jealousy creeps in and I make stupid decisions. For real though, how do any guys in LTRs with women that travel regularly deal? Everyone dreams about the hot stewardess, but marrying her would be such a bad move, no?

You mention you're not in social media. After my marriage ended a year ago, I joined Facebook with the goal of building up a new social circle. It felt weird starting from scratch and I, like you, also had a few close friends. It did help me make new connections and reinforce weaker ones. Consider that the average person is probably on Facebook (or other social media); this might make you more approachable.

Ok, so as damaged goods, what's my best option?

The smv quality that I can attract is still pretty good, although not the same as my young & single days. You raise a fair point though... it's far more likely I'll attract single moms or women that want families/kids of their own.

Agree w/matrix on this one: help her connect with your friend's gfs or wives. If she genuinely feels isolated and outside your group, she'll will probably ease up if gets to know some of your extended social circles. She's already feeling increased dread and worry; sounds like shes grasping for security and your stability.

An actual LTR with her doesn't make sense...the idea of us cohabitation etc. just feels like it would be trouble. I'm wondering how to (successfully) transition her to a plate?

I hear you. At 38, I can be gaming much younger women with no kids.

Being new to RP, oneitis is something I (unfortunately) seem to be prone to. I'm trying to get my head around not dating exclusively; it was so hardwired in my upbringing and while married.

This is the tough part: it seems that many women with well-paying jobs will have travel as part of the deal. I'm wondering how other red pill guys handle this reality? If I identify the problem with her, it seems I would lose frame. If she was willing to stop the business travel, it would solve the immediate issue, but I think it would just come across as insecure... Next-ing seems to be the best option. I'm seeing how oneitis is clouding my thinking.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
