UPDATE - Obviously, ex gf didn't get the message after I took my things and left; was asked are we still going away next weekend or did I cancel the hotel. I did cancel the hotel, booked for two and re-booked for one. I'm amazed at this level of delusion. It's astounding really.

Sex was never a problem but certainly she'd attempt intellectually jousting with me and when she found I would stand firm, wouldn't like it. The currency in our relationship was more time and her wish to control that.

Well, this is the catalyst to my leaving, that although I'm doing right by myself, then everyone else associated with me, it means less time overall, which,if I was to be more successful, would be the case anyway.
