I have no issue making friends with men or women. I want a friend that I can also make out with. But that requires different feelings than platonic ones have.

I don’t think people should lower their standards for attraction. I am a guy who isn’t very attractive. I don’t think my standards are too high. I find maybe 50% of women around my age attractive. I have tried to force my attraction to someone and it didn’t work. Imagine someone telling you I don’t find you attractive but you’re in my league so I went for you.

I would prefer separate checks for a blind date or someone I don’t really know. I know some women will accept dates with a guy they know they don’t like for a free meal. I don’t want to waste my time and money on someone I’m not sure I like yet.

I agree with this. It seems really inefficient and a waste of time. I am sure someone has met their partner off a cold approach but no one I know.

I’m more of an egalitarian. Let’s split and generally try to keep things 50/50 including housework. I don’t think these tasks should be gendered.

While I do these things on my own. I believe the same can be said about some women wanting a guy to open doors, pay for the dates, and do all the initiating when it comes to dating. I’m fine if traditional people want each other. But I don’t like when people pick and choose gender roles only when it benefits them.

Interesting, I could be in the minority but from the picture I preferred the one without makeup.

I actually prefer light or no makeup. But if I am attracted to a woman i’ll be attracted to her regardless of makeup.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
