Male oppression is dismissed and it breaks my heart to see the world young boys have to grow up into. Most of the population is college educated but you can work in blue collar jobs, there are some telemarketing type of jobs in English that don't require anything. To be a waiter you need decent Hebrew but if you manage that they make good money in Tel Aviv. The other side of the coin though is the cost of living is INSANE.
