The whole point of what I was saying is: men can handle themselves better against another person, so women need to be more careful *because* of their gender.

Yea but if a guy and a girl are alone in a building then no matter the 'social' power the woman might have, the guy can 99% of the time overpower her. But if it is two guys then it's a 50/50 who would come out with control, and it wouldn't be easy. That's why women need to be *more* careful when alone then men are. Obviously, try your best to not get mugged/raped/killed whoever you are but still, gender plays a role.
