Does it work on people you have never met before?

No but that’s the thing, I did suck the first time because I let my emotions get the better of me, but I am planning on making sure I’m not as overly goofy as I was last time and actually try and have a more interesting conversation so that she sees who I really am, but I am not 100% certain what to do and that is why I am asking here.

No, I didn’t beg, I was careful enough with my wording to not do that, I asked if she wanted to see if there could be anything one more time. What do I do?

Thanks man. We don’t drink, so I am not going to do that, but I was thinking we could go do some bowling or something, an activity where we do something interactive instead of sitting in a park or taking a walk, since I don’t think that works anymore after 3 previously failed attempts.

No, he is being reasonable and considering the consequences of his actions, and, as a result, wants to avoid a criminal record. He literally typed it out too.

He literally is, according to what he just said.

Ataturk wanted to abandon the Ottoman legacy once he became the leader of Turkey, so he changed the name of the capital, which had been named Konstantinyye under Ottoman rule and Constantinople since the reign of Constantine the Great.

That can also be faked.

Let’s kill online dating so we can bring back real life dating.

I get a couple here and there, so I don't see why I can't try something new once in a while.

True, but I was just talking about how coincidental it was that I read this post exactly as I got a match. It's pretty rare that a match develops into something meaningful, after all.

Thanks, I'll remember that for the next time.

Funny thing is that I just got a match on Tinder. Time to see if your advice holds up! Edit 1: She has two pictures, one where she's facing a pond and another with a mirror selfie where you can see only a part of her face, but you can tell she looks pretty. I opened with "So what are you hiding behind that phone? 👀". Wish I had something better, but what's done is done. I'll learn if I fail. Edit 2: She saw my message half an hour ago. Hasn't responded. Edit 3: For some reason she responded 3 ho…

It's a very complicated issue to navigate if this isn't understood implicitly. It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that other people are like themselves, sharing the same beliefs about what they would consider common sense, so they don't bother asking for clarification because of that, which can make things tricky, but I believe it's excusable for the men who are only looking to have sex with a woman and be done with it in this instance, since the alternatives here, if the man is truly i…

You're acting as if this is not consensual, as if the women have been forced to have sex against their will. This is not the case. No one has been used. Both parties were willing participants and (presumably) enjoyed the experience, which is better than them being held back by regressive societal expectations.

Some obvious examples of an appropriate setting would be at a social event, like a party or gathering, or a club or bar, where people are expected to socialize and a rejection almost never mean much. Bad ones are places like funerals, hospitals or restrooms, where there is pretty much zero point in trying, even if the effects of rejection in terms of real consequences (ostracism, unsafe confrontations) were nothing, which I wouldn't say is true very often.

People might frown upon this, but the quickest way to get to where you want is to stop caring about being moral for the sake of being moral. If you see a woman you're interested in and you want to approach her in an appropriate setting, go for it. If you're unsure if you're "in her league" or if it's "right" to approach her or if you feel like you're doing something immoral by approaching her, stop caring about that. It does you nothing good and will only hold you back, other than the pragmatic …

It is sometimes better to learn from other people's experiences. Now I know that I should never do that either.

Oh. I meant like, would a cold approach ever work in a country like Norway? I haven’t really tried out of fear, but I get the impression that a lot of women here would count it as harassment if a man tried to cold approach them with the intent of seducing them.

Here in Norway? Would that ever work, though, with the culture we have towards dating here, with so many people isolated and all?

I guess that makes sense. My belief is that many writers of contemporary romantic fiction are women who like to imagine themselves as more moral than they really are, and they often project these moral desires onto the female protagonist, who, more often than not, is largely a reflection of themselves, and that due to the popularity of this particular genre, the sentiments expressed in this type of literature seeps into society as a whole and instills the wrong ideas in men about what they shoul…

That's true, but do women feel unsafe around vulnerable men?
/r/seduction08/11/24 02:44 AM

That's interesting. How come? I thought it made women feel more at ease with the other person.

Try not to masturbate for a while. Then you will truly see if you are attracted to women or not.
/r/seduction03/11/24 08:47 PM

But wouldn't it feel good to be vulnerable with your partner and know that she's always there for you, and vice versa? To me, it seems like it could be euphoric. Better than sex, even.

In my opinion, it would be that men like it when they can open up to women because they believe it will give them a sense of security and strength that will allow them to take accountability instead of leaving it for later, if ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/24 10:06 PM

My problem with this is that it seems that women are generally biologically wired to find men who open themselves up emotionally as less attractive than otherwise, even if they may claim that's not the case. Due to this, it seems to me that opening up to someone emotionally should be done with caution, when you're at least near-certain that the woman won't lose too much attraction in you, and that it might actually build up your relationship in matters of trust, friendliness, etc. even if their …
