1	Coming across as gay? How to recover/modify strategy. Be more masculine? I've always felt that the situation I was in changed the lines I used. If I was going to a trendy club where people might expect to come across a ssuper(sic) guy, then I talk about other things I am interested in other than fashion. Because like Jim Jeffries said 'I don't care how homophobic you are if a couple of gay guys show up at your dinner party, you're excited!' because 'Gay guys are fun!' so you have to be fun without being confused for gay.
