8	No, You Don't Understand I appreciate your opinion It just seems to me that Tyler Durden is as much of an extreme representation of an ideal man as the one advertised by the media, just on a drastically different spectrum. For me the whole point of the book was to not let someone else take over and sell you the idea of how You should be. 28	No, You Don't Understand Isn't the whole point of both book and the movie was that when a man doesn't have an obvious struggle to find an outlet for his ideas of masculinity it might lead to such drastic measures.
