Met her a couple times but not 1 on 1. Agree it’s not ideal but the moves been made now so I’ll just live with it. Probably cut early to walk around the art areas

So I shouldn't flirt at all? It makes some sense but I don't get the balance of trying to stay cool while showing interest. Do I have to actually do anything to show interest?

I didn't mention having to ask her anything thankfully but that's a very good point. Where is the balance between not caring and trying to show her I want her? I don't really flirt I just do me and I suppose that's working out but I mean, how do I further it? If I just keep acting like I don't care or notice, I don't see how the positives in that?

That's what I was thinking, frankly most of my friends are at least 5 years older than me(22) so it's not a big deal. Yeah I'll just make a joke out of it or something

What's a good response if she mentions being older than me? Frankly it's a bit intimidating because she's obviously been through and seen more than me by this point Edit: and thank you for the great response already

Pull her aside how? "Hey let's talk?" I don't need an exact quote but it's tough to create a moment. I'm not exactly a pro lol My understanding is that if she doesn't even want to walk to class with me, I should probably stop trying too, right?

Didn't think of that but it's an amazing way to reference it. Frankly that's my own confidence issues, don't so much feel I live up to my expectations so I wouldn't live up to hers(or anyone really). Just gotta feel good about myself fackk lol. I always wonder if it's even worth to use this sub cause most of it is just really feeling good about yourself. Appreciate the answer :)

I am intrigued by 3. In what way should you portray your "can't have me" attitude? Is it by mentioning other women you're talking to or is it just not "interviewing" them and thus not acting like you're giving your all to them? Like, stay "aloof" (however the fuck ya spell it lol)

Holy shit. Coin that shit man. I swear this hs been me since leaving high school and starting to actually care about myself and how I look and come off to people. Weirdly enough when I got a haircut and somewhat good body after graduating, everything changed and it seemed people look at me and treat me differently. It's one of the most annoying things fucking ever. It honestly was a reason I thought less of myself because I thought something was wrong that I was doing. I really could not grasp w…

Lmfao shit I am so out the game! All I was thinking was ok coffee date. I don't think she'll have time at night because of work so that's all I could think of. Don't doubt that last one, I'm anxious lol

God damn I've been out of it for a minute now so I'm mad anxious but I know it's stupid to even care. Thanks for the advice lol

Yeah that's what I was thinking too, he had just happened to show up around where we were so it kind of came up like that but you right I've gotta capitalize. Honestly I didn't feel much tension from her end so idk. Then again I'm maybe overthinking

I'll probably wait to see her, I'm way better in person than over text. If we don't end up meeting on Wednesday I'll prob just ask her thru text

Damn really? Should I wait a day or two? I see her again Wednesday probably..

Is it hard to be "on the other side" of depression?

I undoubtedly think too much into it and end up being super complicated. I get you though, just gotta be real about it and not overthink. Thank you, this was a huge bit of helpful advice

Honestly do you have a set of openers you rely on or is that weird? I try to have something original each time because I feel like they've all heard every line already but it gets tiresome, what's the trick of the trade on that? Thanks for the awesome response btw way more than I had expected!

What are some things you learned about starting the conversation up in general? How about understanding when to start getting a bit more risky with the messages ?
