Yes, it is normal to be single at 17! Focus on your academics and getting into a great school. Have fun, play sports or get involved in an activity you're passionate about. You will come into your own. It happens. The great thing about college is you can do both -- party on the weekends and still get your schoolwork done! February goals: 1) No more than 2 drinks at a time! It is okay to drink, but I do not want any drunk nights or hangovers this month 2) Lose 5 pounds. Should be easy if I am not binge drinking... my main weight culprit. 3) Sort out student loan repayment plan. Make sure I am on the right track. 4) Improve my makeup/grooming routine! Would love to have someone at Ulta or Sephora show me what to do.

Thank you so so so much for taking the time to respond. I am taking to heart that the more important conversation to be had here is about marriage/kids/our future together, not necessarily about what's going to happen when our leases are up.
