I know the feeling, but remember that in the long run, what you did is a good thing. You took a risk. You were courageous and put yourself out there. In this case, it looks like things aren't going to work out the way you wanted them too, but that's okay. People who go after what they want and take risks live far more meaningful, full lives than those who don't. Look at it this way: you took the course of action that might have led to something more. The other person is probably not interested, …

This. A guy who sits in his basement eating cheetos all day playing League cannot just "be himself." He needs to develop his social skills and confidence, then he can "be himself."

Don't just take this random redditors advice. It's not creepy if they're initiating it. The problem here has to do with your university's code of conduct and possible enforcement of that.

You're not wrong. In order to marry a woman (outside of arranged marriage), you have to be attractive and make it happen, just like if you were after a hook-up.

A few things: 1) Pick-up became mainstream with the publishing of "The Game", so women became on their guard. 2) Society has changed to the extent that nearly anything can be construed as harassment. Men are terrified of being exiled from society because they asked the wrong girl the wrong thing, so advice based around flirting with women is viewed as impractical. 3) The internet has made game less valuable. A lot of hookups now happen online through tinder. 4) I think this is the biggest one, g…

I agree with both of you. The woman was down to fuck (she went over to a guy's basement for a fun time as the 3rd date), and the guy blew it by not escalating. He could have banged her on that pinball table. On the other hand, he also demonstrated low status by putting in too much effort for the date and being too invested in her (having their names printed together on coins). That subcommunicates "I'm desperate, I need this to work out." Men with a lot of options aren't putting in that effort. …

For people trying to understand this, attraction responds to its own things and nothing else. If you cannot build and maintain attraction, you will not succeed. Nothing else will make up for it. This guy was very "cool", but he wasn't attractive. Attraction + comfort = success Comfort without attraction = friendship Attraction without comfort = crush or desire but nothing happens No attraction, no comfort = apathy / ignored Also, attraction is not a choice, so people are not responsible for not …

No no, send it to HER. She's not going to see your messages. I can PM it to her for you if you're too nervous.

You were supposed to respond to the lady you're trying to impress, not me, and now she'll miss your fabulous white knight post. Quick, you can still PM her a copy of it! You might still get laid!

Entire book is about it. Also, the Mystery Method as a book. It's literally a manual on how to approach women at clubs.

Just curious. What are your sugestions on approaching a girl in the club? The book "Magic Bullets" is all about this.

That's what you THINK you are looking for. In the experience of the community, what women THINK they want and what women respond to in real life are often different things. Don't take it personally, this applies to everyone, including men. I doubt I could actually describe what type of women would make the best girlfriend for me, or how I would want a woman to approach me. I may think I know, but the reality of what actually works and what doesn't are probably different things. A woman who has s…
