Honestly, a lot of high standard issues seem to be heavily perpetuated by black women. I saw a comment that TRP was originally for black men struggling with black women and looking at it, it holds so true.

Total opposite of that...

Thank you, but people's varied opinions on my looks and looks in general have taken such a toll on my mental health I just can't pull away. At least I'm really improving myself at least.

Ah, well it feels like at 6'0, low body fat and above average looks the exact same as someone 5'2, fat and unattractive. So I think you can see why I can't wrap my head around the subjectiveness of beauty.

Sorry, I don't understand what you said. Can you elaborate?

I'm okay with how I look. 6'0, skinny and toned, 6-7/10 looks, and I groom well and have a fashion sense. Only two problems exist: 1. My skin is awful, but I'm working on it. 2. Me at above average looks, is it enough? Is it enough to just be above average? That's my problem. I'm not some unattractive, 5'6, balding guy saying this shit.

That every god damn thing would be easier if you were a hot Chad. Look idk what the hell is true and not true. Only thing I know is, the top % of guys will have it easiest. Super attractive women still have to deal with a lot of shit/fears from men, but "alphas" don't have to worry about shit. That's why everyone gravitates towards them.

I'm playing devil's advocate here. I wanted to spark up debate by giving regular TRP ideas and seeing the replies.

With men it's about getting the most attractive woman to marry. A lot of men (not me) only marry in order to secure consistent sex from a woman they consider insanely attractive.

Obviously? Lmao

Ok, it looks like you're more-so defending the concept rather than disproving it.

That younger women (18-26) are drawn dark triad psychopathy, physical attractiveness, and social status. They have casual sex with these men, then in turn when they want a relationship, they go to the guys with nice qualities and essentially create a cuckold dynamic as the sex in that relationship is virtually non-existent and neither is the love from the woman.

What is the "average" guy in your eyes then?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/20 05:42 AM

How did I expose it?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/20 05:31 AM

I agree. I think subjectiveness only occurs in the 5.5-8/10 range. Other than that, everyone can tell who is below average, above 8/10, or below 3/10.

Yeah, me at 6'0, 147 lbs with decent abs and jawline feels really insecure (not scrawny I swear). It just feels like even though I get told I am definitely above average, Idk who is really out there struggling or not so I have anxiety going out and approaching women.

Yeah I guess I've been on "_pill" subs so much that I keep searching for objective features to define average
/r/askFDS10/06/20 02:00 AM

So how average were these men? Like what made them average in terms of looks?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have a really tough time wrapping my head around the subjectiveness of beauty.

I agree man. Looking at you, you look like a solidly above average asian, but nothing special. But an above average asian, according to a lot of ideas here, is the equal of a 4/10 white guy. All in all, you clearly break the mold and you look like you handle yourself well.

I'm talking strictly casual sex.
/r/ExRedPill03/06/20 06:58 AM

I feel like it adds legitimacy to the 80/20 rule. Top 20% have 80% of the sex

My only issue with this is, any girl I see on tinder that I know, I automatically feel like sex with her is impossible due to the hot matches she must be getting. And I say this as an above average 20 year old. Her expectations will be sky high. And by average, what makes average in your eyes?

The way I see it, men are taught to hold emotions in from a very young age. That in turn leads to difference between a lonely male and a lonely female. A lonely female is generally lonely due to the attitudes of other people towards her for whatever reason (unattractive, weird, different religion/race, etc.). While a man is lonely for same reasons too, the difference is that with a man, you never what you're gonna get. With a female, even if she has been through bullying and isolation WILL have …

The key always will be to be have somewhat decent looks, at least 5'10, and fashion sense. Once you've got that nailed down, all it takes is to not take some rejections too harshly and you'll get laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/20 06:51 PM
1

Yeah that's what all the girls I talk to say. Even if they want casual sex, they mostly just wanted to see what type of guys they could talk to. The guys IRL a friend of mine gets with are not as hot as the ones on tinder at all. The argument could be made that top 20% men shouldn't even be on tinder in the first place, so that's where apprehension from women comes from.
/r/ExRedPill02/06/20 12:26 AM
1

Yeah, I can see why.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 11:48 PM
2

Sheesh, then most men aren't really attractive then.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 11:39 PM
2

You're telling me, that a 21 year old with great hair, 5'10 at least, sub 15% body fat and a jawline is automatically top 10%????
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 10:52 PM
2

What the shit? There's no fucking way average cute guy is top 10%. That must mean most men on mgtow, incels, and trp are truly below average by standards
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 10:51 PM
3

Then most men are just ugly and unfuckable then. and by actual good looks, I don't mean model tier. I mean your run of the mill pretty boy or cute guy with a decent jawline and somewhat of abs.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 09:22 PM

What is an average man to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 07:08 PM

Lmao that is NOT top 5%.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 07:01 PM

Then boo hoo for those men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 06:54 PM

Are YOU an above average male?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 07:53 AM
1

Honestly the only foolproof way truly, is to fake emotional availability again and again and again. That way a guy could have a one sided fwb and just move onto the next.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 07:46 AM
1

Holy fuck this makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 07:08 AM
2

Based maybe, you have to remember that below average guys are actually ugly. Just because you might not be perfection, doesn't mean you aren't good looking. When I say below average, I mean that 5'6 guy with 20+ body fat% that's balding. That's the state of the american male in today's age.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 06:57 AM

But getting casual sex with a pretty attractive girl as an above average male with game shouldn't be hard. By above average, I don't mean above the "average" of a guy who is 5'8, 200lbs and balding. I mean someone who has actual good looks and is already fit, full head of hair, and has somewhat of game.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 06:25 AM
1

Then go get relationship sex then lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 06:08 AM
4

Lmao, no. You need some facial harmony/attractive features and/or height. The top 45% of men are okay. It's over for below average men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 06:05 AM

It was a joke
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 03:41 AM
1

By repulsive, how repulsive are we talking? Because depending on which ideology here you choose to believe, a repulsive guy can either be some fat and smelly ugly guy or a 6'3 fit male model with a little too much eyelid exposure.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/20 11:46 PM
2

But that still makes women get the model tier matches and then they in turn overrate their own attractiveness and leave the guys actually in their league in the dust.
/r/ExRedPill31/05/20 04:51 AM

Do you think this is the type of thing that the red pill is correct in?
/r/ExRedPill29/05/20 05:09 AM

PSL is Puahate, Sluthate, and Lookism. The websites of trying to maximize looks and sexual appeal to women. The rhetoric is that it is quite literally impossible to get any form of sexual attraction from a woman, let alone a (don't mean to sound like a dick) somewhat "attractive" female as a sub 8/10 male. The PSL community is essentially doing anything you can, including major surgeries, to be in the top 20% of men, or else you will never have the true attraction of a woman ever.

Height?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/20 08:14 AM

Yeah generally, but thats what having a naturally good frame, being at low body fat%, and definiton does for you at 5'11 and 145. Plus I ran cross country in high school.

The average man by standards is doing just fine. The average man by statistics is an ugly fat fuck who keeps going for Stacy
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/20 06:58 AM
1

That is close, but you also have to consider that men don't view the statistical average woman as a potential sexual partner. Like we can ramble all day about how "fat women can get chad if they want to" but I look at that as deflection from the fact that the average man sees himself as way better than the average woman. The ideal sexual partner that the average man has in his mind is someone 3 point above him realistically.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/20 05:48 AM
3

Statistically, but let's be real, it's not preferable to be under 5'8 at all as a man.

I'm talking about any major city in America, people in their 20s and early 30s, and the casual sex/dating scene
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/20 05:36 AM

40 as in age?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
