I'm sitting here wondering what the outcome is. So there's two camps so far: Nicklovn: when you give them a piece of their own medicine they'll only bond closer together and become more aggressive towards the threatening party. WiseMonkeyGoodMonkey: feminists will feel where the males are coming from and begin to think reflectively about how they were wrong to act a certain way. Not saying you're wrong but I feel that historically the former has been the result.

It's true but there are rules around evidence used. E.g. if the accused recorded in the accusers home without telling her then the evidence is not admissible because the accused broke the law to get that recording.

There is a side that is supporting this view and some of what they say does have validity. It's true that texts aren't evidence for or against the occurence if a sexual assault. Likewise its true that victims might be afraid to step forward on the basis that there is a pattern of implications of consent. But that's the problem... within the current system it doesn't matter what pattern there is in the context of whether or not a sexual assault took place. It can lead to a better understanding of the events leading up to the assault. I do think cutting sources of evidence is not the best idea but legally speaking pattern before the event is not evidence of no assault. Proving sexual assault is very difficult.

This. Let's not forget that there were many rape accusations that seemed clear cut and led to a man being imprisoned. Now we have an accused person but dont have a conviction. This sub is getting so whiney it's insane. This is military training. There is frequent sexual harassment and assault response and prevention training that takes place. This used to be a huge issue in the military and sparked a ton of training to the point where to some it felt like SHARP training dominated overall training. That has always been a standing law since the constitution but was maintained by Brandenburg v. Ohio. There's now a "test" of sorts to determine if the speech is attempting to incite violence. This test is called the Brandenburg Test. ​ So if I am planning violent actions against a minority group or the government and I'm urging people to raise up arms and commit violence, then I am violating the law. If I say, "I hate X Y and Z" then I'm in the clear.

Removing something with nerve endings shouldn't improve sexual experience. I'd be curious to meet men in adulthood who get circumcised and get their perspective though. But ultimately regardless of how sex feels it shouldn't be a decision made by parents unless there's a health necessity (e.g. frequent infection).

I've considered this as well. However in this particular case your model doesn't work. She did confess to fabricating the story and had apparently won a large sum of money from the school district. She is now in hiding after receiving $750K of the $1.5M she was to receive. The school district won the law suit and is entitled to $2.7M. now they just need to find the girl.

I don't know how many intelligent feminists you've met in person but I'd argue that very young feminists (early college) and feminists online tend to be a bit more extreme. I've had great conversations with feminists in person that were very civil and heard my perspective. You won't find many on Reddit I'm afraid.

I think its a take on collective guilt. They argue that those of us who have female friends who respect us, or wives, or kids,or all of the above have been bystanders and have failed to take these things seriously enough. I'm uncut but I doubt it's THAT different. What is true is that the foreskin has a lot of sensation. It's almost like a tickly feeling. I'm just not so confident it makes a huge difference when you're rapidly thrusting during intercourse. But I doing anyone will actually know.
