It seems to be in fashion to demonize anyone famous who passes away now. We all know Norm wasn’t a saint, but he was funny.

Social circles absolutely affect hypergamy. If you know celebrities in your region and you’re lifestyle resembles those same high value friends it will influence your ability in obtaining higher value women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 10:47 PM

Great post!! I agree with your comments, however it is different for my demographic (m57) in that the odds are in my favour as my competition is much less and the few potential contenders are usually nasty players which only serves to increase my value to the pool of mature ladies.

This is true. When women argue that masculine traits are toxic I like to respond with “so you raised a nurturer instead of a ladder climber”?? Of course this is never the case. It’s a self perpetuating cycle as boys are put into hockey, football (whatever). The interesting shift for me is seeing girls involved in the same sports become the ladder climbers. Will this mean we will see gender equal toxicity?

It’s so easy to meet women, I don’t get it. I quit OLD because it became a full time job just responding to messages. Go to Yoga, Spin, CrossFit and you will never have to ask out another woman again, I don’t. It’s a great time to be alive.

You get what you attract and there are way more tools then ever to help you man up the ladder. The ones that whine the most go to the gym the least, are satisfied with the mediocre job / pay and don’t take the extra courses. It only gets better when you work on yourself.

I find it funny when people say “when you’re on your deathbed” because I think.....I’ll be dying, isn’t it selfish to want to have people whaling around and sobbing?? .....gawd no, I don’t want that. Push me out of a plane, give me a bottle and send me away on the ice flow. One last ski run down the out of bounds. I would rather think about all the life I lived then to worry about teary goodbyes.

As an older demographic representative you make an interesting point. There are many good looking couples where one of them lets themselves go. It’s quite hilarious to watch the eventual separation pan out as the one who kept reasonably attractive is a hot commodity in the dating pool and the other flounders with the realization they are no longer worthy of anyone’s attention and has to league down, and far too often many leagues down.

Interesting and thoughtful response. M58 here and find my demographic to be different than younger folks. Pump and dumps in my circle happen because he either just wanted the conquest to fuel his ego, or the sex was poor and he did not want to get sucked into a bad sex relationship. As far as dating over 50 in my burb, abundance is absolutely it. Women 45+ are more predatory for dating, no apps required. Just show up at yoga, spin, bootcamp etc and they will corner you.

If you want an independent woman then you have to adjust your attitude to be a modern man. That means non traditional roles where she makes more than you and you’re raising kids. Not a bad gig....but you will have to work to keep her because she’s a HVW and you’re the homemaker. This is where you can step it up and be the homemaker that traditional men complain about.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/21 12:33 AM

Reading most of these responses it’s clear it is inevitable. I think as folks reach the age where kids are grown and the family dynamic/responsibility is no longer a priority we should consider that long term relationships will diminish and shorter term relationships will become the norm.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/21 06:31 PM

This. I wonder if women understand that a pump often happens because the sex was just awful. I’ve met men who do pump and dumps because they are assholes, but never met a man who pumped and dumped a woman who was great in bed.....

I think it’s more to do with the convenience of OLD which is similar to pulling a number while standing in line at the DMV. Hard to commit when there is so many options standing in line, each one shinier than the next…”now serving 122”
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/21 03:46 PM

Your league changes with the marketplace. If you’re a 5 in the 50ish LA upper middle class and you move to Oregon, you’re now a 10. The options change as well, but you’re no longer getting turned down.

Every relationship has inequity’s, it’s success is dependant on how the couple bridges the disparity’s. If you don’t care what men want, then you are expecting them to settle.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/21 01:00 PM

And that’s what my answer is about.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/21 01:13 AM
1

I do believe there is a inequity outside of government or unionized workplaces. However, the income disparity should not be an issue as long as both bring relative benefits to the relationship. What women think they bring to the table and what men want is the real disparity.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 10:27 PM

That’s why you need to take your time and find the right one. ltr can get mundane, but like anything else if both are into it then they find a way to breathe new life into it again.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 01:05 PM

I thought she sounded more like a hyena. This is the type of woman men can’t take seriously. She waves her fake nails around like someone who has never done any kind of work or put effort into anything real. If men are going to take any kind of an argument seriously it needs to come from someone who is not a cartoon character.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 01:00 PM
1

This is interesting when age is applied. Folks in their 50s, even fewer males 5+, but $$ becomes more of a factor in their ability to attract women. The rare 8+ chads have the ability to date the largest pool of women from 20-60.

First date should be a meet and greet, something easy and casual like coffee or ice cream cone. Good dates are where you talk, listen and enjoy each other’s company. Bad dates are where you’re talked at, vented too, or hear about all the other assholes out there. Worst date I ever had, she didn’t look anything like her pics and had to come right up to me and say “ hi I’m Karen”. She was stuffed into lulu lemons that must of been incredibly uncomfortable as they were several sizes too small. I th…

No, not women in general, women in general raise more nurturing men. Hard core feminists raise A type males. It is the chicken and the egg and does answer your question.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 04:17 AM
1

It’s the chicken and the egg debate. How many feminists raise male nurturers?? I have only seen feminists raise male children as A type chads who eagerly stomp over everyone else male or female on their way to the top of the corporate ladder. So who is to blame here, the male or the feminist who raised him?? OP which one has the more or less to offer??

Interesting perspective with many valid points. For me as a M57, I’ve found the normal rules you’ve laid out no longer apply. They’ve changed. As we get older a man who was reasonably attractive 20-40 is now much higher on the scale in the 50-70 age range as long as he maintains physical and financial fitness. I read the posts about men not getting dates and I cannot comprehend why they aren’t bombarded with requests (and why I went off OLD). I turn down most dates and sexual advances because I …

I believe this is the case. I too have seen these lingering profiles over the years. Don’t waste your time with them, they have nothing to offer in a relationship other than good looks and seek only to fulfill a requirement in finding a man capable of supporting their wanted lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 05:33 PM

There is much more to sex then just penetration and getting off. It can be a beautiful, connective and spiritual experience with the right individual. There are higher planes to be achieved but it takes patience, vulnerability and a knowledgeable lover.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 03:10 PM

M57 here. This too has been my experience and believe it’s even more so as we get older. The frequency of pump and dumps increases for these type of women and they rationalize it as “men are all assholes” instead of acknowledging they are dating outside their limits.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/21 02:44 PM

It’s subjective as many who are attractive on the outside can be very ugly on the inside. What’s attractive to me is someone whose balance of the two works with my personal requirements.

In my experience this is a reasonable number for someone 45+ It’s not about their past being promiscuous, I’ve just found they are more sensual.

It’s reasonably to calculate that college alone 3x partners for every year (x4) =12. At 57, if a woman doesn’t have at least 15 previous lovers and willing to talk about it, I’m likely going to pass. I want someone who knows what she wants and has high expectations of me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/21 12:03 AM
7

I believe it is much closer in reality then what is openly discussed. I have been groped, harassed and received numerous unwanted advances. The big difference here is that it is far less likely for a man to be violated by a woman and as such I can’t consider it an apple to apple comparison. Although I may have found it disturbing, it’s wasn’t a life changing event that women face.

There is truth in this, even though he is the undisputed galaxy king. We can all be tribal chieftains in our local area bubble. I live in a burb composed of mostly professionals, where the ladies I date all see me in town, know my house, know my lifestyle. My point is, that for my demographic it’s easy. I read the whiny “I can’t get a date” posts and shake my head. If your a guy women want to date....they find you. You’ve just got to figure out how to be that guy in your bubble.

One date showed up wearing high heal sandals and athletic clothing that likely fit her fifty pounds ago. We had a couple of drinks and some appetizers. By the end of the second drink one false eyelash was sideways and I couldn’t stop staring at the gobs of lipstick on her glass wondering how the hell the restaurant was going to clean it. Basically ended up feeling like I was with Wanda from in living colour.

All I can say is that you’re still at the beginning, it gets harder then better. If you are in decent shape, continue to work out, and if you don’t, it’s ok you will bounce back. 40s are tough because your working like a dog, raising kids, always broke and trying to get along with a wife. 35-50 are the toughest years in my opinion. I got divorced at 50, then immediately peaked financially as your at the top of your game. The guys who complain about finding women to date astounds me because I had…

Avoiding you suggests he may not be as available as he claims. He shouldn’t be blowing you off, work could be legit, if he wants to meet he will make the effort. I’d hold back on the sexual texts until you get a little more interest/effort.
/r/seduction21/05/21 09:13 PM

M57 here and yep, these kind of games don’t disappear with age. Personally, recommend just tell her point blank that in your last meeting she made it clear about interest in that new guy and think it was disrespectful of our current relationship which was a wake up call to what you thought was developing. So thank her for the opportunity to get to know her and wish her well. Of course it won’t end there ....and if it does, you were the bigger man.
/r/seduction21/05/21 06:48 PM

The best way to attract women is to be your own man and own who you are. Trying to be something you’re not is a fantasy portrayed by children trying to sell what they believe is game. Women of substance see through those petty images and the true man attracts the quality women. Be yourself, be engaging and be amazed at what the real you is able to attract.

I’m a life long lifter and getting women now is the wrong reason to lift. The boys I lifted with in my twenties who took steroids were gods for 5 years and got all the girls they wanted. But then, the steroid abuse took tole on their bodies and they declined in their 30s. By 40s they were fat old men who couldn’t get off their couches because their backs, joints and tendons were all screwed up. What’s important to understand here is that it’s not you, it’s her. She will never be happy and your self esteem will continue to decline. The best thing you can do for yourself is realize she is toxic for you. You need to tell her you won’t be treated like this and move on. Don’t let her plead and beg, it won’t get better. Just move on, as hard as it will be you will be far better off with someone who can’t get enough of your touch.

This is good advice. Confidence overcomes goofiness. Watch and modify your behaviour based off the positive reactions. Be confident and do what you say and say what you do.
