How do I make up with my wife who says she does not love me anymore?I read the second one there but either would be good. I believe they are written by the same person | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/07/22 11:26 PM
How do I make up with my wife who says she does not love me anymore? You need to work on yourself before you can even think about repairing the relationship. We've all been there and made it through. You can too. Get a good therapist if you don't have one already. It sounds like you have a lot of feelings from childhood that you've never worked through. Those kinds of experiences don't just go away. They linger in the back of your mind and effect you on a daily basis. You have to bring those back to the forefront and talk to someone about them so that you can get… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/07/22 07:05 PM
Who else has no desire to date anymore?No | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/07/22 07:51 PM
STBXW just dropped the news on meI refused to believe it when people told me this but it sounds a lot like my situation except that we were together a lot longer. All of a sudden she started acting differently and saying she was staying the night at "friends" houses. Turns out she was actually cheating on me the whole time. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/06/22 04:05 PM
Anyone else just laugh at the advice given in other subs?Yes, but everyone needs to make their own decisions when it comes to marriage. My ex-wife cheated on me while we were trying to have our first child. I'd still like to start a family but would like to be married if I do. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/06/22 08:26 PM
| -1 | Anyone else just laugh at the advice given in other subs?It doesn't matter what the OP says. In every topic, every single comment is just, "Lawyer up and get a divorce." "Don't ever get married again." | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/06/22 05:17 PM |
| -3 | Anyone else just laugh at the advice given in other subs? No, I usually laugh more at the advice given here | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/06/22 03:26 PM |
Help needed. This is why I hate when people immediately recommend to lawyer up. Probably 90% of people can't really afford a lawyer easily when getting divorced. My STBXW and I filed for divorce and it literally only costed us $240 split between us. As an alternative, you can hire a mediator for much less money. I say start with trying to go the amicable route first and see if you can agree on things. I was surprised at how much mine was willing to give up to get things done and over with. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/06/22 07:15 PM
Moving outAhh, I read the post before the edit. Personally, I can't recommend reconciling with a cheater either. My STBXW cheated and I tried to win her back. I worked on myself and made a lot of changes in my life in a positive way and she still chose the other guy. It crushed me. But now I'm in a much better place now that I know it's over. I'm in a great new relationship and am much happier now. I know it sounds rough but you will most likely be better off in the end if you let her go. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/06/22 01:49 PM
Moving outWait, did he mention any where she cheated because if so I missed that part | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/06/22 01:14 PM
Moving outWell, the worst thing you could do right now is to beg or plead for her to stay. She's asking for space so you have to give it to her. Work on yourself and if she comes back, great. If not, you will be a better person for the next relationship | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/06/22 02:03 AM
Moving outMy thoughts are that if she wants her own apartment, then she's leaning towards divorce. Basically any apartment requires a year or longer lease. If you're separated for a year, I can't imagine reconciling. If she just wanted a few months apart to work on yourselves, then she would stay at a friend or relatives place for a bit. I'm wondering about the guys that say "let her go." She either wants to go or she doesn't. It's not like you can force her to stay. If she wants to move out, then she is.… | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/06/22 01:19 AM
Did you guys take the ring you gave her back?Same, just move on, it's not worth it | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/05/22 11:56 PM
Reconciliation rant…Yep, you can't say you didn't try. Now I'm sure you are stronger in your convictions about her | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/05/22 09:32 PM
Anyone else in the early stages of divorce/separation and telling friends and family? You aren't required to tell any one all the details. If it's too much for you, just tell people you are getting divorced and leave it at that | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/05/22 02:32 PM
That $1.6m house has her wanting to reconcileWhy's everyone get downvoted here for having a slightly different opinion? This sub would be more helpful if it wasn't just a giant echo chamber | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/05/22 08:54 PM
What was the moment you realized it was over? She decided to sleep in a different bedroom as sort of a trial separation. During this time she was staying out all night sometimes, saying she is staying with friends. Of course now I know she was with this other guy all this time. I obviously was suspicious of her behavior so I read her journal that was literally sitting right on the bed in plain sight where she was writing about this guy. The next day I asked for a divorce. She clearly wanted me to find out, I just don't understand why she co… | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/05/22 09:27 PM
If you get married you’re a fucking IDIOTGlad to hear. Don't let women ruin you. You're better than that. I'm in the middle of a divorce after my STBXW cheated on me but I can't let her destroy the rest of my relationships. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/04/22 02:04 AM
If you get married you’re a fucking IDIOTFucking truth bro | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/04/22 01:57 AM
If you get married you’re a fucking IDIOTIf you believe in Law of Attraction this is exactly it. He projects this view of women out into the world and that's exactly what is attracted back. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/04/22 01:53 AM
If you get married you’re a fucking IDIOTHave you ever considered that perhaps because of the view you project onto women, that that is the only type of women you attract to yourself? | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/04/22 01:51 AM
If you get married you’re a fucking IDIOTBro, all you gotta do is take her out for drinks. Sometimes not even that. We're actually pretty spoiled these days when it comes to dating. There's plenty of women out there on the dating apps that just wanna hook up. I'm getting divorced and found that dating is sooo much easier these days. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/04/22 12:17 AM
If you get married you’re a fucking IDIOTMy girlfriend and I actually just had a conversation about this. I was talking about how moms train their kids to be nice and respectful towards women and she was saying how women don't really want that. Masculine and not overly nice. Willing to make the first move and be just a little bit agressive. Not like in a non consensual way but overt in what they want. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/04/22 12:04 AM
Why is my soon to be Ex-Wife (30F) so angry and disrespectful towards me (33M)? She is the one dumping me.There's a lot to unpack here but I'm glad you included that you don't believe all women are like this. You married some one that sounds like she wasn't what you were looking for but now you know yourself more and know more of the type of relationship you want. If you believe that all women all like this then that is exactly what you will attract. Envision the type of woman you want and don't settle for someone who doesn't match up. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/04/22 09:43 PM
Why is my soon to be Ex-Wife (30F) so angry and disrespectful towards me (33M)? She is the one dumping me.That's such a great way to put it. Most of what she is doing isn't based in logic, it's based on feelings. Feelings that she probably doesn't quite understand herself. It would be a waste of time to logically think about her actions. It's best to just accept it for what it is, learn from it and move on. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/04/22 09:36 PM
| -2 | How to trust again? That's pretty unreasonable to not allow your partner to have male friends. If you don't trust her to have any, you shouldn't be dating her. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/04/22 07:46 PM |
No more Mr nice guyYou can get a free trial from audible for 2 books, then you can either cancel or continue for 14.99 a month. I've probably done like 4-5 free trials through audible at this point | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/02/22 09:04 PM
All my friends are getting married. You guys teached me a lesson to never marryYeah, I'm 36 and dating a 31 year old and dated some younger as well. Her previous relationship was with a 56 year old guy so yeah, you can definitely get younger women. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/01/22 07:24 AM
| -3 | All my friends are getting married. You guys teached me a lesson to never marryWow, so many sad men in here. You're ex-wives must have really ruined you all. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/01/22 07:18 AM |
