I wish I could say the same. It's not by choice for me. I've been actively wanting to date and/or have sex since 17. Though, I never did put the effort and only relied on apps. School will change his environment and get him out of the house, I agree. What if that wasn't the issue? Anyone can step outside the house and complete responsibilities. Would he talk to any classmates before class starts? Ask anyone to hang out after class or on the weekend? Join a club? Ask a girl to coffee? Go to bars …

I wouldn't just recommend going to college as if that'll fix things. I went to college and I'm still a 25 year old kissless virgin who's never been on a date yet either.

What places? And in what way can you help?

I feel like I am. I went to college, have a good job, have a car, traveled before, been to bars, do hobbies, tried drugs, exercise, hang with friends when we can. I just never done anything with girls yet. No I'm not gay. Just haven't had any desire to approach anyone and never been approached either before. But for the first time, I'm feeling like I want to start engaging with women, even if just for friendship too for now. I guess you can call me a late bloomer to graduating from the games to …

This is a typical high school experience? Damn I've been missing out.

Idk man I'm 24 and never had this experience yet.

You see my problem isn't that I'm attached to the outcome. My problem is that I'm anti-social, pedantic and logical. I'm naturally introverted and find general conversations to be incredibly dulling, especially small talk. My topic of conversations range from things and not people. I can't tell you my story and tbh I'll zone out listening to yours, but let's talk about politics, economics, religion, science. Even food, I love to cook. I work out by powerlifting and training muay thai so I have t…

You're right I'm over thinking it. I usually do in all aspects of life lol. Thanks the for the advice though it's much appreciated! I'm just going to start going on dates and take it from there. I guess my next question would be how you usually go about getting dates?

You're right, definitely over thinking it. Thanks for the advice, its much appreciated! Definitely gonna start just going on dates and take it from there.

Yes but I'm not asexual. I do have desires and fantasies and get sexually aroused by women. I'm sure I'm going to want sex at some point, just not currently interested in it until I'm fully comfortable with a person.

Awesome! Thanks for the advice, much appreciated! I might have to give Bumble a look then!

Haha I was about to respond saying I'm still interested in dating and other physical touching, just not sex at the moment. Glad you read it all now, since you did, any advice?

I think that's exactly it. I've never been in love before, never felt that "burning desire" before that people describe. I do want romance and love I think, definitely more than intimacy. Thanks for the advice. It is much appreciated! Given what a lot of others have said too, I'm probably going to give therapy a try and bring this topic up in it.

Why is it shocking that its a guy more than a girl who posted this? And why should I be with another virgin? I was always told that body count shouldn't matter and you shouldn't judge someone based on virginity or not. Not saying you're wrong at all, just wanna know why you think I need another virgin? And thanks for thinking nothing is wrong lol

Well I'm still interested in going on dates and having some physical touch that I've described in the post. Just don't feel like im ready at this point for sex, both mentally and emotionally.

Ok thanks for the advice. Why do you say that and do you have any recommendations on how to start?

Because I put dating off for so long, never even thought about it during high school and college. I feel its something that I both am ready to try and something I need to prioritize now, if nothing else, just to have some experience. I currently have 0 friendships or relationships with any girls and want to start by building some connections. I want to go on fun dates, get to know them and build up that intimacy. I want to try hand holding, cuddling, flirting, hugging, etc and feel comfortable w…

So then it really is useless trying to date? I'm still interested in other aspects like the hand holding, the cuddling, arms around shoulder and even kissing. I want to go on cute, fun dates, get to know girls, learn to flirt, etc. Just not ready to pursue sex at all right now, but I'm sure I will eventually.

I've heard that term before and its something I've wondered. I'm not sure if I am though only because I do watch porn, so that means I do get sexually aroused by women I don't know.

Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated!

Well I'm sure I'm not asexual as I watch porn and have fantasies and desires, and do get sexually aroused by women. Just no real need or drive to actually have sex at all.

I wholeheartedly disagree. The chase has never been fun for me at all. I've tried, but just never got into it

I'm a Catholic, not like a strict one by any means though. Why would most girls think something is wrong? And true, do gotta think one step at a time.

Well the friendzone implies not even dates, hand holding, cuddles, etc. I want all those but not interested in sex at the moment. Why would women despise me for it. Annoyed maybe I can understand but despise is a strong word.

Ok thank you for the advice. If I choose to do therapy, I'll definitely bring this up.

I know I'm not as I do watch porn, get sexually aroused by women and have fantasies and desires. Just not desire to actually have sex. I also recently had blood work done and there were no issues.

Definitely not forever. I know I'm going to want sex eventually. But just not at the start, I want to be comfortable with a person and have the relationship develop first. I want to start with all the other innocent intimate things first and just get comfortable with the idea of touching. I am not saying I want to bail on someone, not at all. Actually I would love to experience all the firsts with the same person, I just need time. Is this going to be a deal breaker?

First off, thank you for the well thought out response. It is much appreciated! I know it isn't biological as I still have all functioning aspects of what you mentioned. As for the emotional, demisexual is a term that has interested me for a while. I've gone back and forth with it for a while but not sure if I am only because I do watch porn. I do have desires and fantasies but rarely with anyone I know Those activities you mentioned are what I'm looking to do right now and then possibly have se…

I know for a fact I'm not. I get horny and I feel sexually attracted to women. Always have. I'm sure I would even enjoy sex, just have no current desire for it. Not really sure why.

I didn't say I wouldn't like sex. I said I didn't want it. To be a little more specific, at this time. I'm sure at some point I am going to want sex. I know I'm not asexual too. I do get aroused and feel attraction towards women. I just don't feel mentally ready or mature enough for sex as it feels like such a huge leap from where I am at. I would be ok with just going on some dates, maybe holding hands, hugging and cuddling to start. Therapy would probably make more sense than an endocrinologis…

Its also not normal to be 24 and never been on a date or had a first kiss. I understand I'm not normal. I haven't experienced what I should have yet but I'm trying to work my way there. Should a 24 year old male want sex regardless of whatever past experience they have or not have?
/r/seduction24/04/24 08:44 PM

Therapy would imply that there's something wrong no? I'm not disagreeing, just want to know what you think is wrong that I would need therapy. Do I need therapy because I don't want sex, or to help me find a compatible partner?

Well I don't fear vagina. Just no desire for it. I'm sure I certainly can have it but if presented with the opportunity would turn it down. This goes for all sexual acts.

Why? There was a time where everyone dated for the first time without sex or even getting naked. Most people start dating as a teen and may not have sex until they reach 18-20 after a couple partners. I still want that initial innocent, learning phase most people go through with their first partner. Is it really bad that I have no desire for sex simply because I don't feel mature enough for it?
/r/seduction24/04/24 07:42 PM

Well it is true. I do have sexual thoughts and get horny of course. I'm just not interested in actually having sex or getting intimate. Maybe down the road, after I've gotten comfortable with someone I'd want to take it to the next level. Just not in any initial or starting phases. Just innocent dates and touching in the beginning.

What should I discuss in therapy? And I'm not asexual, I know that for a fact. Not sure about demi though, it's certainly interesting though

Here's my thing I've learned about myself. I don't develop any feelings, crushes or desires for any women until after a friendship has been formed, normally after 2-3 years. I truly did only want friendship initially but I can't control who I end up falling for. Its never intentional and I have lost many great women friends over this, namely my childhood friend of 10 years from 12-22 by acting weird all of a sudden, eventually confessing and the relationship turns sour and awkward. I have never …
