It definitely has shifted that way though, i have seen multiple post that was just woman = bad and it got thousand of upvotes, or comments saying womens only value is sex there is a lot of hate in this sub that i find it rare to see it used for what it was meant for now a days

I have been lucky enough to never experience someone expecting that i pay for their food on dates it's always been i pay for mine and you pay for yours, i had one time where she insisted on paying since i had to drive a long way, and i could see myself doing the same if it were swapped but it's a bad attitude to expect another person to pay for your meal and even worse if you then pick some of the most expensive shit, if you are in a relationship that's another deal

I mean the dates i have been on in Denmark (where i live) we have always split or i have payed upfront for the food and she paid me after or the other way around, i even had a date where she paid for me (insisted on paying for me) so i have never understood where this comes from that women expect to have everything paid for them, well i do have a feeling that women in the US are just more traditional and not as much into equality than over here

Well then it might be different where you live because of all the people I know most of not all wouldn't mind calling them self feminist and non of them hate men, some of the women might hate an ex boyfriend but I think that the extend of it (and I can understand that to some extent)
