I use jujitsu as an example because of experience and the fact you don't really get hit, punched or kicked doing it, it's really not dangerous at all as long as you know when to tap unlike kick boxing, karate or other martial arts and it's a grate way to keep healthy, I reckon it could work idk.

Like I said, this seems to be an American problem, there are no special programs or scholarships for black people in Europe, from my experience growing up in the UK as a half casts person and seeing how both sides of my family are, being poor and stupid doesn't seem to be exclusivity a black person thing, that makes me think its harder to get by as a black person in America than any other western country.

Any immigrant would have been treated better and had more opportunities in both Europe and America than black people in 50s America, black people across Europe tend to be more well off than African Americans probably because racism was less institutionalised in Europe, hell a lot of the poorest communitys in the UK are white ones. Because of this poor people in Europe, well in the UK anyway tend to be a more mixed bag when it comes to race.
