The left hates men which is why this sub exists, and the right still believes in traditional gender roles even though society has moved on. Sucks to be a guy these days.

I'm a guy lol. Also, where did i write that women should have complete freedom? Seriously, based on my experience in this sub, i was expecting a more thought out response than whatever this is.

So what if I'm a conservative (i would actually be considered left wing in my own country)? Doesn't mean i subscribe to the manosphere or the red pill (i disagree with them). Certainly doesn't mean I can't care about men (i do). Also, did you even read what i wrote? Your argument of male child soldiers actually reinforces my point of society expecting men to go to war. When there are not enough grown men, instead of drafting the grown women, they use male children instead.

I don't mean to sound sexist, but why shouldn't men be dominant? When countries go to war, the men are sent to the meat grinder. In industry, the most dangerous jobs are done by men. From the dawn of mankind, men have always been putting their lives on the line to provide and protect. Not saying that women cannot perform these roles, but anything requiring physical labour will be biologically disadvantageous towards females. I'm glad that women now share the same rights as men and more women are…

At a certain point, you gotta wonder what women actually look for in a guy. I read somewhere that women want "nice guys" for settling down, but actually want "bad boys" for the excitement. This seems to be something that the manosphere is actively promoting, asking young men to not be "betas" and instead be "alpha or sigma". I don't agree, as this is a very myopic outlook on dating. However, just because the red pill conclusion is wrong, doesn't mean that the dating scene is a-okay. Can anyone a…

I don't live in the US, but from what i can see, what alternative is there for men? Will the right change and focus more on men's rights instead of expecting stoicism? Will the left change and tone down on feminism? I don't think that either party will. So what is the alternative for actual long term change?

Doesn't matter, divorce rates amongst lesbian couples still rank the highest.

"Sexist cuss word" sums it up about right. https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpact/s/ZSaXlaTtS4 For example, I just came across this post. Someone was ranting about women destroying video games. Granted, there were some good points in there but also a lot of rambling that made no sense. The comments section was filled with "incel this, incel that". I guarantee you that if a woman wrote this, but blamed men, no one would be calling her a femcel. In fact, i see a lot more misandry but no one ever c…

Probably a hot take: but Tate actually made some good points about improving yourself as a man. IF, big if, you manage to sit through his other bullshit ideas. He's been quiet for quite a long time now though. As for Fresh & Fit, i agree that they have their issues. However, the fact that they consistently manage to get women like that on their show is also very concerning. We are talking about extremely misinformed, misandrist women spouting all sorts of nonsense. But yeah, Fresh & Fit really d…

By far, I hate the "incel" argument the most. These people use it like a "gotcha" card whenever you call them out on their hypocrisy. The worst part is that plenty others will join in and mock you instead of seeing it for what it is: deflection and bullying.

Please go into more detail. I'm actually quite interested in this topic. As a single guy, i find dating or even approaching women or having standards so difficult these days. I'd like to read your take on this issue, OP.

You'd get labelled a misogynistic piece of MAGA trash lol. Most of the leftist talking points outlined by OP above are pretty accurate. Like, I'm no fan of the blatantly sexist manosphere, but the barely disguised misandry on the left is arguably worse.

Might be a hot take, but i think men treating women as weak and needing protection is far less dangerous than women treating men as violent rapists. At least with the former, women still get protection from doing dangerous jobs like working oil rigs and fighting on the battlefield. With the former, however, men really do get nothing. In fact, you can get locked up and your life ruined for absolute no reason. Please correct me if I'm wrong though.

Yeah, I am new here. To be honest, I actually liked what i was seeing, the discussions on men's issues. Especially on how misandry has been normalised to no end and how bringing it up in almost any other sub gets you downvoted to oblivion and cue the gaslighting.

Agreed 💯

I see. Thanks for the clarification. I'm going to be honest, and please don't take this the wrong way, but I almost thought this was a right wing sub because of how men's issues are actually brought up and discussed properly here. That's something most other subs just disregard as men being incels or misogynistic. It's been very refreshing not having feminist worldviews shoved down my throat. Thank you!

Lol feelings hurt just as much these days when women have so many ways to hurt men and get away legally.

Just curious, what's the difference between this sub and that tin man sub? I looked through the comments, and they're rather similar.

Trust me, they absolutely do hate this double standard. That's 2 years that these boys are never getting back. The best part is that Permanent Residents are subject to this too, and if you try to avoid NS, you are barred from staying there long-term. South Korea also practices male-only NS, but that country is right next to a madman's country, so the men there don't hate it as much.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
